Tried this, the proportion of rava and sugar should be 1:1, it would be better if you put little less sugar. Thanks for the recipe.

Sapada means all ingredients should be in an equal proportions. So rava,banana,ghee,sugar,milk should cook in equal proportions.if you are trying just for taste in the non satyanarayana pooja day then it's ok to make your own.

I am sorry but you don’t even seem to know what sapaada bhakshya means! It means equal quantities bhakshya. Only things used are godhi rava or hittu, haalu, sakkare, tuppa, balehannu all in equal quantities. Prasaada never has yalakki and nuts in it for satyanarayana pooje. This is what I have grown up seeing.

@udupirecipes4 жыл бұрын
For prasada, u may need around 2 to 2.5 cups rava for serving 100 to 150 people. I guess it would be sufficient

Nice recipe! But this is sajjige not sapada baksha.... U r from Udupi so I thought u knew about it.... Sapada means all equal quantities... 1 1/4 ... Traditionally it’s made with wheat flour but that’s ok.. nowadays people use the by product of wheat I.e., cream of wheat (rave) but adding cardamom powder, so less ghee n banana is definitely not the sapada baksha prasada..... this is just sajjige
