Translation:
1) Of David, [a Psalm]: HaShem is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? HaShem is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?
2) When evildoers approach me to consume my flesh-- my tormentors and my foes, they stumble and fall.
3) If an army should encamp against me, my heart would not fear; if war were to rise against me, in this I trust:
4) One thing I request of HaShem, [only] that shall I seek: that I may dwell in the House of HaShem all the days of my life, to behold the pleasantness of Hashem, and to meditate in His Sanctuary.
5) For He will hide me in His Tabernacle (His Sukkah)on the day of distress, He will conceal me in the shelter of His Tent, upon a rock He will lift me.
6) And now my head is raised high above my enemies around me; and I will offer in His Tent, sacrifices [accompanied] with trumpets of joy; I will sing and chant to HaShem.
7) HaShem, hear my voice when I call; be gracious to me and answer me.
8) Of You, my heart has said, "seek My Presence"; Your Presence, HaShem, I will seek.
9) Conceal not Your Presence from me, do not turn Your servant away in anger. You have been my help; neither cast me off nor abandon me, HaShem of my deliverance.
10) When my father and mother abandon me, Hashem will gather me up.
11) HaShem, teach me Your way, and lead me in the path of uprightness, because of my watchful foes.
12) Do not deliver me to the will of my tormentors, for false witnesses have risen against me, who breathe violence.
13) Had I not believed that I would see the goodness of HaShem in the Land of the Living.
14) Hope to HaShem, be strong and He will give you courage; and hope to Hashem.
