Here is s.a for one to b a cop,u must bribe someone to bribe others to get u a police job..i wrote my physico test on 2012 n they say they can't find my Q3 results me n my 4friends only to find out my friends paid R3500 n now they are working n some had been arrested due to bribery...hmm how ironic

litseho moeketsi thats not true, we didn't even give anyone a cent but yet we are working, I have since listened to this kind of negativity from the community and that made me to hesitate to apply since I had such mentality, I one day chose to go and try oh my God i couldn't believe the results, I still can't believe, If the the calling is yours no one can ever deprive it away from you.

Senior saps members are no the ones running around in the street. Being part of the SAPS does not mean you are going to be a street cop. There are many different roles you can be employed in. So there is very little need to maintain a six pack when all you do every day is blow a whistle and watch new recruits doing their training. But almost every saps member has to go through training at the beginning of their careers because even if they are not going to be street cops, they may still be called to come and assist in situations where their station needs lots of man power (e.g during a protest or road operation or a raid).

I'm 49 years of age. Still very young at heart. I want to do this 🙏to serve and protect..i just love the challenges, do exciting. Why the age is so a big deal..

If they allowed you to participate at your age, you would quickly realize (probably in the first week of training) that there is a substantial difference in reflexes and physical level between a 20 year old who is still fresh from highschool sports and a 49 year old who has both kids and grandkids, and has also lived 2+ decades in a sedentary lifestyle. Even a 39 year old would be an unfavorable hire because of these reasons. I'm not saying that you are old. I'm saying that you have had a long enough period for your body to get used to a lifestyle of sitting all day long, while kids who are fresh from highschool tend to come from school sports programs, and even when they are home they walk more and do more physical things. This difference in lifestyle would become blatantly apparent at training academies. Best you can hope for is to work in an admin role, consulting role, or monitoring role at a private security firm.

Mount Ayliff Police Station Recruiters failed me on 2018 or 2019. I wrote a test, they phoned me informing me that I passed a test. A week later, they phened me again, telling me that they are calling people who passed English with level 4(50+) and people who have Diploma+ in any course to go to run at Lusikisiki. I told them the advertisement didn't mention that. They said that they will call me after they have finished calling those ones that I have mentioned above. Till today, they didn't call me. They just gave me a number of a Health worker at Mount Ayliff to call her so that she can speak to them! The lady told me that she knows them but she has nothing to do with SAPS, she was working at the Dept of Health. 💔💔😭😭😭

I heard people from Hannover Park and Eldorado Park complain about not being recruited as policemen in their areas. I wonder if they actually apply for these jobs as a kid in Hannover Park wants to be a policeman but quit school at std 9, how does it make sense to feel so entitled of a job you don't qualify for? In this class I see some representation as well but its too small, is it because of low applicants that met the criteria?

@@rustydusty2256 there are 2 applications for people with qualifications and matric only... The applications for people with qualifications this year were the one to come out first and around April or May the matric only applications came out I even applied and pass my psychometric test...
