I know that this video has been out for a while now but I haven't been able to watch it for the fear of the memories it would bring back. When my daughter's doctor told us "I'm so sorry, it's cancer" you just can't believe it, you don't want to believe it. My daughter underwent multiple surgeries, rounds of chemotherapy and I can honestly say that the children are the ones that are truly brave. My daughter always thought that if you have Hope, Strength and Faith it will equal a Cure and in her case she was right. She is over 10 years cancer free. Bless all the children... Isaiah 41:10

I'm really sick of the dislikers. haters! I love to read comments from loving kind people. if not for them, I would be a hater of the haters. it's so hard to try and remember that they are the ones who need prayers. the children's hearts are pure, they don't judge. My Truly Brave niece is going in right now for her end of treatment bone marrow and spinal fluid tests after two years of chemotherapy for leukemia. She just turned three. Prayers and hope are needed now more than ever for her. Awareness, funding, and research are needed now more than ever for all the future childhood cancer warriors.

yes, she's an angel. our home-girl. ;) my boys used to sing with her at church in the kids choir. Laura lee taught them. Sara had the lead in little shop of horrors at high school. my youngest son Mike had a huge crush on her. we went to see it all week. she's always sang with heart. we all love her here in hometown. ♥ This video was so inspiring, I so love it. and I thank you for what you and Cyndi did. oh my gosh, I was just singing Girls just want to have fun last night! haha..;) I love these beautiful children in the video, and I pray that God Blesses and keeps them here for a long time. their colors are.....Beautiful, like Sara and Cyndi's. Such a heart-warming song..I honestly couldn't contain myself with the message it brings, how we all must unite in promoting awareness about cancer that whoever stricken with such nefarious illness, hope & positivity musn't be altered with grief or self-devastation. MY son is a cancer survivor 24 years now! Does a heart good to see the smiles on their faces knowing what they are going through.. My son had Hepatoblastoma a rare liver cancer, he was diagnosed at 16 months old! Now he is a grown man taller than me! Yes we was very lucky having to use experimental chemo drugs and major surgery. Now these Chemo meds are used on a daily basis in hospitals world wide.. those that dislike a story like this has no heart!!

Incredible video and collaboration! Just wish the money was going to something like Alex's Lemonade Stand which is childhood cancer specific, because the American Cancer Society has not been as actively involved with childhood cancers. I have been doing music with children in hospitals for 33 years and have provided music at camps for children with cancer throughout the U.S. and the American Cancer Society stopped funding all of their Camps for children with cancer which has left many of my young friends scrambling to find something to replace it. With that said I am so thankful that Hoda pulled this off.

It's amazing the joy children can find, despite disease. I had one patient with a large abdonminal tumor that decorated his IV poll as Wall-e, had a "glow stick party" in his room, and found so many outlets for fun, happiness and joy.

8 years ago, I was diagnosed with Cancer, When I learned of what I had, all I could think about was my sons, and what they would feel if I did not make it through the ordeal I had. Today I am a survivor, because of the skills of my doctors, and enjoying that I am still here with them to enjoy their lives. While they did have to endure the worry, I also started to see what my feelings were toward kids who have cancer, that they worry about what they have, is something that potentially may take them from their families. My thoughts go out to these kids and that they are and will be survivors as well, and that they can enjoy their forever lives with their families!

Hopefully the American Cancer Society will fund more research for childhood cancers!! Currently they only fund a pathetic one half cent per dollar raised for childhood cancer research. Educate yourself and donate to organizations that actually put money toward the kids!! ❤️
