My mum passed away a few months ago and I think about her everyday. She was so hard working and firm but when she got ill with terminal cancer, that's the first time I saw that glimmer in her eye. She was shining. She was innocent and funny and just so unguarded and sweet. She always made everyone feel better about her dying when she was the one who was suffering. I wish I had seen more of her sweet genuine self. But now I will just have to remember it....on my wedding day to come, when I have my first child, when I get my promotion at work, and go on beautiful family holidays. I know not everyone has good parents but there is something beautiful in everyone.

This came up on my Pandora for the first time today. I knew before I looked that it was Sara. God that voice. The voice of a goddess. Once again She takes my breath away. What a beautiful song. I knew with a few lines that she was talking about her mother. How does she keep getting better and better. It choked me up, much like all of her songs do. My precious Mama was my very best friend. My biggest supporter, cheering me on no matter what I was doing. We talked every day, laughed and shared our daily happenings. She passed away in May of 2021 only 6 weeks after my husband and I purchased a house together with she and my dad. I miss her so and played this song for her only a week or so before she passed. I respected her so, so much. She was my family's glue, she was so precious. I'll see you again Mama, save me a seat and I can't wait to hug your neck!
