@@sojohko-oz1iw My that is a short attention span. Many songs and other pieces of music are far longer and actually do feel longer, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing either. Good luck with your practicing though!

This song takes my breath away for minutes at a time. This song hits me hard to the core, every single time I hear it. I will never be second again. Never. This song is genius in my humble opinion. To the core. Sara can not be compared to any other singer I have ever heard before. She paints when she sings. Unbelievable. And so beautifully believable. She’s been through it. I can tell. Whatever she sings about, she has been through it. It comes through in her colors of distinctive harmonies. OMG. Genius, she is. Like Van Gogh. Simple put, genuine genius. Thank you Sara. You paint with words. And your beautiful music is timeless. Like Mozart and Beethoven. God bless you.

From an Q&A interview with Sara: "There’s one song, “Bright Lights and Cityscapes,” that was a very emotional performance. When I listen back to that vocal take, I don’t hear my best singing and I get self-conscious about that. But Ben was adamant about getting a take that had a lot of emotion, and he was right: I was sitting in the piano room crying while singing, and he’s the one who made me keep that on the record."

I love how real artists like SaraB are underrated because they're treasures and it means they're hard to find. Those who find them are privileged enough to be hearing what they have to offer. And only a few have ears to good music that's why followers of great artists like Sara B is not that much. Those in the lime light just give out beat or even noise, but hers is real music - poetic, relatable, raw and creative. Simply SaraB!

This song reminded me of the first time I ever said "I love you" to someone who is still dear to me. He rejected me because were too far apart and felt that it was unrealistic that we would ever be together. As time goes on in some ways I fear he maybe right but it still never means that feeling will go away. It exists as possibilities and dreams, something that is carved into your heart for as long as you live. Were still friends but apart of me still wishes he wouldn't keep sending me presents of friendship. I'd just want him, and only him. No matter how much I try to stop feeling it won't stop, my heart will always yearn for him, no matter who is in my life and whoever i may end up with. I'll always be the love sick fool for him but know that it may never happen. But one can hope right?

This song is exactly how things are for me right now. And right now it's the "right person, wrong timing" type of situation. So, this song is funny, truthful, and all around just much more beautifully said than I ever could to him. And less jealous and hurtful sounding, just truthful and heartfelt. "I wouldn't need a second chance...", but it's up to him to choose... and my heart would go sailing on. Also Rebecca E. I could name MANY anime characters in this situation lolz.

im so amazed at how sara could have composed this song and all others if she hadnt experienced all the travails of emotions to express it into so deeply profound of a song. every song of hers still keeps me guessing every allusion and meaning. its like stepping in wanderland,my soul singin as if in a trance, confused and yet understanding. pitch perfect cold voice and a perceptive lyricist. I love the fact that you stood your ground in your musical journey to stay who you are not caring for the fad and fame. still with the same old folks and following who got through life because of your music. so sublime!
