So many of us will waste so much of our time on the wrong people believing they are the right one and possibly the only one that can make us feel that way and even in people we think are friends that really don't have our best interests at heart , you should never have to force or fight to make things work, i can promise you There' will always be someone out there that will love you the way you deserve to be, you just have to let go of the ones that dont love you and leave yourself open for the moment the right one does come along, im telling you the second you stop looking and wasting your precious time someone will show up at your front door.. One of the most amazing voices in the world. Truly beautiful on all levels. God bless you and God bless country music!!

I don’t know about that. I’ve been divorced for 24 years and no one has shown up for me.
@jeremyh3446 ай бұрын
Well sometimes you just don't see it when they do, some might be in passing that you may never see again, or someone you work around, live around, see at the store, you just have to be perceptive and open to it and don't worry yourself with rejection or timing cause that one short moment might only be a few minutes that you have to make a lifelong companion and just like that their gone forever and your left wondering if they're might have been something there follow your heart and love like theres no tomorrow.

@@jeremyh344 Your original words were extremely wise and beautifully written. I have been divorced for over 25 years and seem to only find people like what Ms. Evans is singing about. Fun, and makes me feel good for a time and hard to say "No" to!! Women can be "players" just like men, with sometimes being more vindictive! Men, I believe can "Move On" more quickly! Life and Relationship have changed Drastically from the 10 years ago when she released this song. I saw her in concert with the person I loved and when she sang this song My Heart Sank as I just knew and felt they were seeing someone else. She just wanted to see Sara as much as I did and did not want to give up the chance. We split shortly afterwards and I could not listen to this song for the longest time. The hurt and realization was brought back. I finally realized to push me forward, I bought the CD and it became my Anthem. I truly LOVE That you talk of Faith and Belief in finding that "Soulmate." I KNOW for MANY it has not happened! There needs to be a song written about THAT. How does a person know and tell the person who is "right" for them? A song should be written about that! Sheila, good luck as there is "COMFORT" in knowing you are Not Alone! Jeremy--you words are so well expressed that I suggest you try songwriting!

@@tomthomas4151 thank you, i really appreciate that. I am always trying to learn and expand on my vocabulary being a very empathetic and thoughtful person i try to do the best of sharing thoughts and feelings with people even though words will always fall short of raw human emotions, there was a time years ago i was really going through a hard time with my relationships and life and that was when i was really good with poetry and sharing some with some small time artists, but not in along time, maybe I'll try again. Thank you and best of wishes for all of you!

Wish I'd heard this 18 years ago instead of devoting 13 years of my life on an unworthy man. 3 kids and a broken, tattered heart to walk away. It hurt like a biatch to close that chapter of my life. To watch him marry his mistress. It doesn't hurt as much only when my kids call her thier step mother. That kind of burns. So I let them get the kids for a couple months since she wanted my life and thought it was easy as she always use to say. I was struggling so I told her anti-up it's your turn to get the whole package and pray he doesn't step out of your marriage as he tried to do in beginning with me but I wasn't having it. She wouldn't believe me if I told her so I let it be. Now she's in my shoes 5 years in with my kids as I get myself back together.

Learning to say no, even when every fiber in your being screams to say yes-- it's so hard. But in those times-- especially in those times-- that's when you need to say no. Clinging to false hope, giving in, or waiting too long only leads to more pain. And then you live this song.

Interesting story behind this song. It was originally written for Barbara Mandrell by Simon Climie and Dennis Morgan (Dennis had previously written a couple of hits for her along with Ronnie Milsap and the cheeky song "Nobody" by Syvlia haha). For some reason, Barbara passed on this one so it was pitched to Rod and he snapped it up. But I'm so grateful Sara heard the "country" in this tune and put her own mark on it, too. Frankly, for my ears, Sara's has a lot more heartache in it

Beautiful 😍 I miss music 5 years ago, when it's a different kind of beautiful than modern. Detailed and precious. Like an angel voice.
