For those who don't know, The Sasebo Slashing that was mentioned in the game, was a real indecent that occurred in Japan in 2004. It was the murder of a 12 year old school girl by a 11 year old classmate. The victim Satomi Mitarai, was killed in an empty classroom by her peer, (the police only refer to her as "Girl A") during lunch hour. Also in Sara is Missing, you know that video that was shown? The one that was a "death curse"? Those are clips of the Japanese flash animation called "Red Room". It's features the protagonist trying to search of this alleged Red Room's existence on the internet, only for things to go horribly wrong, leading to the protagonist and his friend's suicide. (38:14: "あなたは-好きですか?" means "Do you like-?", which is a screenshot of the Red Room.) Now the real interesting part is that "Girl A" (from the slashing) was a fan of this flash animation. (Some claim that she got the urge/inspiration to kill her classmate from it, but there is no evidence of this being true.) Sorry for the info dump, I just thought it was neat that they tied that into the game along with the ghosts and evil cult.
