3:00 As a Chinese, I would like to help people who doesn't understand Chinese to appreciate the creativity of Chinese version in terms of the lyrics. In the Chorus, there is a rhyme of the "-an", meaning every last word of each line repeat similar sound of "-an" (園 "yuán" 變 "biàn" 念 "niàn" 延 "yán" 驗 "yàn" 天 "tiān" 臉 "liǎn"). Needless to say how hard it is specially the lyric need to be beautiful and relate to the story at the same time. There are some rhyming that pops out occasionally in many versions but nowhere near to the Chinese version. By the way, this applies with other comparison of "Legend of Mermaid" song and most of the Chinese song out there. I got to admit it seems like Chinese people have come to the point of obsession with rhyme in lyric. However we Chinese people are so use to it sometime we forget to appreciate the beauty of it. Many Chinese lyricist treat lyric to the standard of poem. This deserve a round of applause.

In my opinion, I'm now basically forced to watch this anime atrocity from my childhood, which is "Pokemon Ranger and the temple of the sea" movie, I haven't watched it actually since I first saw it in 2007, but I used to think Manaphy is super cute a long time ago, but now Not so much anymore, but I still remember and relate to it to this day.
