Literally ran to the comments to say there is soooo much character development in Zodiac Academy (like the most I’ve ever read in any book series ever). The main part of the story is definitely the character development and is a character focused book. I hated everyone in the books at the start but couldn’t put the books down, it was giving similar feelings to watching a trashy reality show: just drama & characters you love to hate. It’s definitely slower plot wise and I think that’s why people compare it to TVD & CW shows etc because it focuses a lot on the college setting and characters with the action/plot happening in the background!! ZA book 3 is one of my favourites ever.

@@alexandrialovesbooks Just did! It was definitely an interesting book with all the twists in each character. But my favorite Riley Sager book still has to be the house across the lake. I gave the only one left a 3/5 but I think I would've enjoyed it more if I read it in less time.. It took me too long to finish so the suspense kinda faded. Still a good read!

For your kindle battery- check if you have Bluetooth on. Mine kept dying super fast and once I turned Bluetooth off it’s been holding a charge like normal.

I highly suggest The Starling House by Alix E. Harrow! Its a gothic romance enemies to lovers but also a haunted house/magical element so its a bit spooky but i was obsessed!
