This is kind of dark. But I would love to see Sarada use her MS ability so many times, freeing people from the trees that she actually goes blind. And that there is a beautiful moment somewhere down the line that Sasuke, gives her his newly repaired eyes during a moment of him, sacrificing himself for her. He could be continuing the tradition that his brother showed him as well.

@@RSorkinit never stated in the manga that you had to kill them. Just take their eyes. Theoretically 2 brothers could swap eyes but only 2 ppl had done it and both their brothers were dead. It mentions something about this being the reason for piles of bodies but I don’t know if it meant they tried between clan members and it’s not a sure thing like it is with siblings. But technically we don’t know if it would work from dad to daughter and if it does then how far does the process extend. You have to think sasuke has the ems already he was starting to go blind before he took itatchi eyes. So how would that effect a user if the eyes they swapped were already a ems or rinni.

If Sarada is able to heal people that’s also a nice nod towards Sakura’s medical prowess, which presumably she’s taught, (to some degree) to Sarada. Brings together the ideas of nature (her kekkei genkai from her father) and nurture (medical training and the empathy of a medic from her mother) really well. Also would - you know - just be nice to be reminded of Sarada’s OTHER very powerful and capable parent once in a while. 🙄 Two steps forward, one step back…

An interesting theory popped in my head watching this. Perhaps since Sarada’s MS is unique to every other by being awoken by love and the strong desire to protect instead of hate and anguish, maybe her using it will alleviate her need for glasses and improve not only her physical vision but also her view of the world? Instead of being shrouded by negative emotion and seeing the world in a skewed vision, she’ll be more in touch with herself as well as her comrades and see things clearly? Just a thought.

Okay I am instantaneously sold on this. Using abilities born of hatred slowly blinds you. But abilities born of love do the opposite. If she was given glasses SPECIFICALLY so she could regain her vision, I'm gonna freak. And if Nick's read on Kishimoto's writing style is even close to accurate, this is very, VERY likely.

I’m a bit shaky on it, but I don’t have to fully agree on the theory to agree on the outcome; assuming she has these healing flames, I could easily picture these flames healing her eyes every time she uses them.

I would take Sarada's Amaterastu in a different approach. I'd like to think her flames would be dimensional transportation/summoning justu's of the Sun's flames but with a twist. Her flames could multiply cells within a body (heal) AND overproduce cells until cell death (Destruction) and maybe it leaving a "cancerous/radioactive effect" behind. Like the Sun, if there's just enough sunlight we can get beautiful forest, but too much can cause a desert. Thus connecting it to both her Parents. Healing and Destruction. Also, it would make the flames un-absorbable by Ototsuki and Karma since it would be natural flames. It would make sense since the new Dojustus are "planet" like. So having her MS connected to the Sun which all the planets revolve around and rely on make's sense. So perhaps, she could use the flame to multiply the plant cells of the Shinju trees until it dies. Thus releasing the victims. Sidenote: I also believe when an MS is unlocked it's powers are directly proportional to the threat that caused it to awaken. Sarada's MS's threat is a celestial threat. It would make sense for her to have a celestial mangekou sharingan.

I think boruto saves naruto the same time Sarada saves sasuke by defeating the sasuke shinju which will mark the point where they both surpassed their parents. This would be good for the plot in a way where the two previously most OP people no longer need to be sealed for plot purposes, as the new generation will be ready at that point to go crazy

In sticking with mythos theme, I wonder if Sarada will get an ability called Kusanagi. (Based on the grass cutting sword myth). Especially seeing as in the myths, the sword represents an end to a dispute between Susanoo and Amaterasu. It could also be offensive and defensive like boruto’s rasengan uzuhiko.

I agree that Orochimaru would be a great choice to train Sarada. He is one of the most powerful and knowledgeable shinobi in the world, and he has a proven track record of training young prodigies like Sasuke Uchiha. Orochimaru is also a master of various jutsu, including the Sharingan, so he would be able to help Sarada develop her own Sharingan abilities. Anko and Karin would also be good options to train Sarada. Anko is a skilled kunoichi with a lot of experience in combat, and she could help Sarada develop her physical abilities. Karin is a sensory-type ninja, so she could help Sarada learn to use her own sensory abilities. And, the best person to train Sarada would depend on her individual needs and goals. If she wants to focus on developing her Sharingan abilities, then Orochimaru would be the best choice. If she wants to focus on her physical abilities, then Anko would be a good choice. And if she wants to focus on her sensory abilities, then Karin would be a good choice. Of course, there is no reason why Sarada couldn't train with all three of them. Orochimaru could teach her about the Sharingan, Anko could teach her about combat, and Karin could teach her about sensory abilities. This would give her a well-rounded education and make her a formidable kunoichi.

​​@@MMAli-rq8kd3 things. 1 - Sarada is more like Sasuke, than she is like Sakura, at least in terms of jutsu. She cant do medical ninjutsu, for one. Their chakra natures are also diffrent. 2 - Orochimaru is a pretty good sensei. Look at the people he trained - Anko, Kabuto, Karin, Suigetsu, Jug, Guren and the Sound Ninja 5. Plus Sasuke and Shin Uchiha and his sons, Log and Mitsuki. 3 - Her being train by Orochimaru, the sannin, would mirror Boruto being train by Koji, who is Jiraya's clone.

Assuming Sarada's MS ability is a healing jutsu, wouldn't that allow her mother, the second Tsunade, the greatest medical nin to EVER live, Sakura, relevant to the story again? Because if Sarada's MS ability recognizes the failed Divine Trees as damage upon the person trapped inside, then Sakura could also heal them with her OP medical ninjutsu prowess.

After looking at the Japanese version of the manga, the kanji used to refer to the Shinju group is 神樹, not 心中. So it's just God tree. Essentially a Japanese homophone. There's alot of those.

for some reason i can't shake the feeling that the fact that they're turning into literal trees has some connection to why wood release has this insane control over chakra. i feel like we're gonna find out something linking wood/trees to the otsusukis and it's going to help later. like they're gonna need someone with an insanely high level wood release to help with some of the final bosses now add that moegi is randomly one of the shinju AND has wood release. if they can just save whoever is trapped in a shinju by just cutting them down, i don't think it's completely impossible that they're going to somehow get moegi back and being that she was a shinju once she'll retain some of that power (same thing with sasuke) and it's going to be the catalyst for something big. like maybe using wood release to open up some dimensional doorway to let in shibai. the examples i used are just ones that came off the top of my head, i'm not really expecting wood release to be able to open a transdimensional doorway to go throw hands with a god, i just feel like it'd work well and would give more backing to the fact that wood release is probably the strongest kekkei genkai and can battle with even god level threats.

i think it could be that Sasukes Sinju will come across Sarada one day, feeling emotions for the first time and recognize Sarada after they fought for a while or after he sees Saradas MS, reconsidering everything he and the other Shinjus have done and teams up with sarada (and maybe the rest for a short time) or maybe we get something like sasuke itachi vs kabuto but with sarada, sasukes sinju against one of the other members. Either way i dont think his sinju will be a normal enemy since it didnt felt like he wanted to defeat boruto as much as Bug wanted it. I am sure he does know who boruto is and with all these panels we had from sasuke sinju just looking at boruto its more than clear that he isnt like the others.

I have a theory that when Boruto tried to jump the Sasuke Shinju, the goal wasn't to cut it down but rather to activate uzuhiko on it so that it was incapacitated. Then use flying raijin to bring the Shinju back to their base where they can begin studying how to save Sasuke(possibly forcing Amado to help)

Nick i don't think each shinju has *just* their own chakra and abilities, obviously the sasuke shinju was using jutsu he normally used, i think the shinju absorbing human chakra and becoming self aware means that the more chakra that gets absorbed the worse it will be. I'm assuming we'll get a lore dump on the next chapter glossing overwhat koji and boruto know about the shinju so far but as they're linked by chakra, the more chakra they absorb and combine back together the closer it gets to what hagoromo said when he said if another chakra fruit appears from bringing all the different chakras back into one, it would be the end of the world. So for now my theory is that with the more victims falling to shinju, they get stronger as a whole as bug was even able to push back someone like boruto.. i think they could be considered a new race but this may give the good guys a pathway to grant themselves more power to use against the otsutsuki that may still be out there. Imagine sasuke gets back and his body is basically too weak so his consciousness has to be transferred to his shinju form. Very unlikely but would be neat for sasuke to have a shinju body (can absorb chakra by touch, has dual rinnegan and high base physical strength (bug pushing back boruto proves this)) but we'll have to see.

I have a feeling that with your theory, Sarada will not be affected by the use of overly using her MS, since she is not included with the “cycle of hatred”, it’ll not cause her to be blind eventually because she used it for good! Sasuke went blind because he was full of hatred and wanted to kill everyone, and overly relied on his MS to do so, which lead to his rapid blindness, it won’t be the case for Sarada!🙌

Makes sense, if you think about it and take Itachi as the example you can see he never went blind even after using his MS since the Uchiha massacre, he did have an incurable illness but that is theorised that the cause of it was him using tsukuyomi on his gf at the time (forgot her name) and had an illusory 70+yrs worth of life living together as a married couple and when she died in the illusion she died irl too giving her a peaceful death BUT that might have also left some after effects to Itachi as he might mentally be 70+yrs old as well or because he used tsukuyomi for "70+yrs" might have left him strained (not blind). This is all canon btw, in contrast with Obito killing Itachi's gf it was actually him who did it, it's in the novel, not anime nor manga. Also about Sarada's MS, if we take sasanoo's as an example sasuke's is purple which symbolises his hatred and revenge, itachi's red (+weapons) which symbolises his path towards bloodshed while ending it painlessly and need to protect and preserve what he loves the most (sasuke), Kakashi's cyan/light blue which was for his purity and genuine need for power to support his beloved students and Madara's blue because... idk. Sarada's susanoo might be red or light red... basically pink.. 🤮. Or something else who knows. My point is, if their persona/mentality can affect what their susanoo is and their powers why wouldn't it work for their MS. But it makes kinda sense why they would go blind from using MS as it is already one of the most powerful doujutsus and it kinda need a type of cooldown/nerf, I mean, imagine Itachi spamming amaterasú or every uchiha using susanoo for as long till their chakra runs out they might already eradicate the whole continent before that happens. But another logical theory is that sakura teaches her the 1000 healing technique she learnt from tsunade and sarada uses it to prevent blindness in emergencies.

What about if we look at this from the opposite direction.. What about if cutting down the tree containing the person that the shinju is manifesting... Would potentially kill the shinju Useing something like ino soul ability to talk to Sasuke in the tree and he decides to pass the torch to boruto and give up his life to defeat this powerful opponent... It would let him make a heroic sacrifice while simultaneously removing himself from the storyline... Just an idea

Shinjū vs Shinju (しんじゅう vs しんじゅ) I'm not sure which one it is, but here are the (relevant) possible translations for each Shinjū - double suicide (心中), divine beast (神獣) Shinju - god tree (神樹), divine gift (神授), mystic spell (神呪), acceptance of truth (信受) Or, since it's a name, it could be a brand new compound kanji with its own meaning. But whatever the case, it all comes down to the kanji being used (if any). But the official translation is going with God tree so it's probably Shinju. Meaning not double suicide That being said, one of the cool things about Japanese is that there are a lot of words that are phonetically similar, giving writers the ability to slip in subtle secondary meanings & foreshadowing. Especially when it comes to names So the double suicide meaning for Shinjū could still be just that. Though, I think that would be more likely if the official translation was divine beast instead of god tree. Plus, I think divine beast is just a cooler name, but whatever, lol Btw, the difference phonetically between Shinju & Shinjū is just a longer 'u' sound. So, kinda like the 'u' sound in 'new' vs 'you'

ah yes, the sexism explanation. maybe, just maybe, he had a focus on two ppl in the whole story, having a rivalry. it's not like tsunade and sakura aren't already powerful beyond belief. also, in tsunades case, she's a prodigy, but she's also been a drunkard for a long time, before she became hokage, and at that point, simply didn't have the time to train sage mode, which naruto only mastered as fast as he did, cause he was so proficient in his training. jiaya had a whole lifetime worth of training, and never managed to succed in it 100%. so all in all, wouldn't it be sexist towards men, if tsunade mastered it, but not jiraya, when they both have a terrible crux in their personality, tsunade alcohol and gambling, and yiraya being the pervy sage? y'all need to stop. the story simply focuses on naruto and sasuke, and handing out power ups willy nilly makes them loose their luster. remember when vegeta said it was a super sayian bargain sale? orochimaru also never turned into a sage, meanwhile his pupile with the aid of science did. so also here, no sexism to be seen, only the age old tale, of pupil surpassing their master. and before anyone comes around with the sakura being sasukes doormath. that's a pretty common dynamic even in our modern days where women can freely chose partners from a billion men in their age bracket, somehow they always find those treating them the worst. now imagine how it is in a village heromaging ppl because of a freakin ninja war. of course ppl would bond very early in life, and would be in relationships which will withstand cray levels of hardship. hinata didn't get any romantic aknowledgement rom naruto until they were 18 y/o. naruto has to be seen as large timeperiods being cramed into very small time windows, hence why we have old feudal things, mixed in with fast growing technonolgy. and as there is a limitation of ppl, we have to see everything to a very traditional lense aswell, as trough a modern lense. and then we also have the byakju seal or what the name is, for all we know, using that could also lead to such a chakra overload, that you couldn't take in enough natural chakra, to even it out, before you would turn into stone. again, everything around the nasuke story, only serves the purpose of telling the nasuke story. it's not rocket science, we've been telling good storys for a damn long time now, and as you can see in modern day, every single story which is written to equalize the trad way of story telling, is just a bunch of baloney, that heromages money. every single one of them. meanwhile storys told in the confines of human limitations, and more traditional outlooks, almost never flops. and that's not because of sexism, it's because that's how we feel most at home. call it regularity bias, becausefor it to be sexism, would mean that one side would feel totally alienated by it, but, weirdly, women love that sh1t too, and they show it, by buying actual tickets, or streaming subscriptions to watch it. and as you so nicely put, sarada has the perfect set up, to wield a very traditionally female power, with the ability to heal with her flames, or whatever kishi is going to come up with, and there is nothing wrong with women playing to their strengths. it's what our human minds perceive as far more organic, then just having a she hulk that is pp'd off by catcalling whilst scholding a dude, that was hunted down by everybody for most of his grown up life, and was experimented on by his father, and worse. just saying it's sexism when kishi writes to his stregths, literally ruins the product. every anime that tried to pander, also went to sh1t. why? because even braindead comatose ppl, will wake up from their affliction, when something so stupidily inorganic is displayed on the screen. reality exists, and you can only bend it, if it was bend from the beginning. the fact that sakura was able to catch up so close to nasuke, should be her feat. it was the goal she set up for herself, because she didn't take things serious enough, because of her naivity. said naivity is also why we have so many women wanting to change bad guys, driving up their milage, until they realize that they don't want them, once they changed them. some women simply adore said challenge, which plays to their strength, asonly a few men are born mentalists, meanwhile, said ability to influence from the shadows, comes far more natural to women. we won't ever be equal. if it was possible, then guess what, we would be like snails, able to reproduce with ourselfs. nature that wastes, gets out evolved. our universe exists on the mantra of, destroying one thing, to build something new. soemtimes it just do be like that.

Is it at allllllll possible that considering the circumstances of her MS, she may not have the blindness curse when using it? And so pure that merging eyes with an 'hate era' uchiha, it would actually contaminate or make her eyes/abilities worse? And she is going to have an arc where she actually loses the glasses because her MS actually makes her eyes better than they ever were even in basic sight? Maybe this is impossible but...is it tho? It would make the blindness curse to a 'hate era' uchiha make sense why their own abilities have such an extreme backfire and symbolism that the further they go down their dark path, the further they become figuratively and literally 'blinded by hatred' Nick Senpai, is this plausible?? 😅

Theory: As you mentioned that obito learned to use his MS ability as soon as he got it. Is it possible that Sarada did the same? Its possible the only reason Sasuke believed her is because she used her one of her MS ability to manipulate his mind but we just didn't know. In your other theory about Madaras MS ability, you said that your MS ability awakens to what you most deeply desire in the moment you awaken it. Sarada most wanted her father to believe her so she got an MS ability to change someones mind.

I agree with this so much. And the only person to ever cast saskue in a genjutsu was??? Itachi!!! I believe Sarada has an enhanced version of Tsukuyomi or and entirely new unnamed genjutsu. And adopts itachis way of thinking and learns about her uncle through possibly Sakura or someone who mysteriously knows itachis past all these years later.

I mean, isn't that "mysterious" person technically Kakashi?? He was in ANBU with Itachi, if he didn't know before he definitely learned later what Itachi was like, hell he even had him removed from the Bingo Book, so I don't think there is any mysterious person, but it's rather Kakashi (and probably even Sakura because I'm SURE Sasuke was telling her about Itachi, as clearly evident in the episode she told him to treat Sarada the way he "always wanted to be treated by his dad and his brother" (or sumn along the lines of that, but yeah)) Also, they have yet to appear in TBV and there's endless possible theories on them so we'll see. @@shadowtitan8545

I don't see why sarada wouldn't just talk to kakashi and train with orochimaru. She knows both of them. Hell she knows shin uchihas still exist she could totally learn about mangekyo, train it and acquire EMS easily but kishimoto prolly gonna kishimoto so. I'm still salty boruto doesn't use mention or learn snake sage. Man's was setup for that power plot line and sinker

This theory is interesting but I hate it. It would make Sarada both a plot device and another female healer. But then again Kishimoto is sexist so it is possible unfortunately. Sarada should fight. A theory just popped up in my head as you were talking about Sarada: The image that popped in my head were the two blades in Sakura's arm that Sasuke burnt with his Amaterasu, so what if Sarada's MS ability reflects that of Amaterasu meaning that she too can burn things, but like with Amaterasu used in that case, it burns away to be saved, so she uses her MS to burn the divine tree and save Sasuke, and possibly all others bitten by it. Thus, it will reflect the sun-shape of her MS while also giving a nod to Sakura's healing ability, as Sarada "burning the tree down" would basically mean "healing" or saving those who became it. Possibly even actually healing that thing and maybe turning it into an actual tree (there is a Wood Release theory I read about that can possibly defeat the Ohtsutsukis) with green leaves and branches and etc, thus reflecting the sun in her eyes and possibly the aftermath of Boruto/Kawaki fight, aka the scene where Konoha is destroyed. So in a way, she and possibly Himawari COULD restore the village by the power of their eyes (MS and Hima's rumoured Tenseigan). As you said, Kishimoto doesn't do anything for nothing.

To be fair I don't think it takes that long for a Shinju to manifest knowing that the Boruto fight was (as far as I got it) simultanious to the one one earth, meaning Moegi being bitten during it resulted in her Shinju, which beats the theory that it takes a lot of time to manifest as she literally spawned there immediately probably by being bitten.

Im kinda in the camp that her 2 ms abilities are gonna be Ame-no-mochi - the goddess of the harvest - which would make her generate a fruit or some kind of food for healing or whatever. Ame-no-Uzume - the one who danced to bring light back to the world. This i could see as being a genjutsu to let people see the truth and 'enlighten' them.

Technically, there's at least one person that could have helped Sarada with her MS abilities (knowing what they are, etc...) in the person of Orochimaru. Kabuto could also be counted in that, since he took in the Shin clones, and could have gained knowledge over the Sharingan's quirks that he didn't have before. Also, wild card theory : I like your idea of the golden healing flames of Amaterasu, but my theory is a bit different : her Amaterasu would be a "figurative" one, more like a sort of Genjutsu, and would be able to destroy any form of hold being applied on her target. Like getting rid of the memory alteration applied by the omnipotence of the moon-eyed girl (sorry, forgot her name), or severing the ties between the Shinju and its corresponding captive. In a way, it would be like a "factory reset" of her target. I know, seems a bit wild, or too "plot convenient", so maybe a less powerful version of that, but I feel like her MS power could be something amongst those lines

While i do agree with most of the theory, i am not sold on all failed trees turning into shinju. I am wondering if it is only certain clawgrimes that can manifest shinju from the failed tree. It seems like having a whole army of shinju that powerful would just be over the top of what they could handle. I mean if bug is that strong imagine if tsunadai or kakashi ended up in a tree.

I think Sakura learned a lot from Sasuke about it then she learned more from Kakashi. I think she has been training for this for a long time and she got re-educated when she realized Sarada was really into sharingan training.

Sasuke’s own MS abilities are Amaterasu and Kagatsuchi, he used those in his battle against Bee and then again at the Kage summit, and the Danzo fight. All that Itachi did was leave some of his chakra in Sasuke, which triggered when Sasuke saw Obito’s MS. It was purely a trap set for Obito and nothing more.

Interestingly Sarada going to Sasuke in tears and begging him to go and save Boruto is exactly like Sakura going to Naruto in tears and begging him to save Sasuke. And much like with Naruto who failed to bring Sasuke back Sasuke technically failed to protect Boruto since he's a tree. We know how much Kishimoto loves parallels and callbacks, but it does break from the previous narrative with Sarada because she (potentially) awakened the power in that moment to do what she couldn't and should now have the power and have mastered it enough to be able to do the things. If, ya know, Kishimoto has decided that women have rights. It's also very possible that she will join all the women before her who are powerful and useless (to the story). Could go either way lol her story and Eida's story are the only ones I was really worried about. Although now that I think about it, if you're right and Sarada will be saving Sasuke with Boruto then he's literally just copying Sakura's only storyline bar for bar lol. But maybe that's a good thing- maybe he's going to use this as an opportunity to get it right.

I have a theory that Boruto can see the future it might sound crazy but hear me out. Boruto somehow knows about "the true terrors of the Ten Tails" AKA Shinju even before they spawned. The only explanation to how he knows about this is if Koji somehow knows about Shinju and told Boruto, but why would he know? The only person that might know about this probably Amado but I don't see why he would help Boruto. Other hints towards the future sight theory: Momoshiki for some reason knew about Omnipotence years before it happened and knew Boruto would lose everything. It's not the only time that we see Momoshiki manipulate time, he's often shown to stop time completely to have a conversation with Boruto and it was confirmed that Ada didn't know about that conversation, and she couldn't tell when it happened. My theory is what if Momoshiki's Shinjutsu or dōjutsu is time manipulation of some sort or futuresight. And it would make sense because Momoshiki is the only Otsutsuki that we've seen that has no unique power like a Shinjutsu or a unique dōjutsu unlike Ishiki. You would expect Momoshiki to have something special especially because he is the royalty. He is supposed to be the one to eat the chakra fruit out of the two Otsutsukis...

Boruto got the information about the Shinju from…… Eida, who’s been secretly meeting with Boruto all this time feeding him information. Also, I don’t think the Shinju take years to create. I think they’re made almost immediately but it takes years for them to develop. That’s why the first Shinju seems more advanced than the others. Over time, Sasuke’s Shinju will grow stronger and will eventually lead the pack. I have a feeling the claw grimes with the Rinnegan’s are the ones going out and gathering information like fighting techniques and directly sending this to them.

No. I think Shukkaku in a Tea Pot is more likely than healflames Sarada with a pink Susano. If she gets Amaterasu, she might have a more constructive use for it- but she really doesn't need power for plot relevance. You seem to be heavily misinformed or don't remember what happened during the Two Blue Vortex chapters. Boruto and Koji didn't aim to cut down any Shinju. They wanted to destroy the body of the Ten Tails to stop the Claw grimes from biting ordinary people and enveloping them in a tree. They thought that would also return Sasuke to normal. That's it. That's the true horror of the Ten Tails that Boruto was saying Code didn't understand. Very simple
