I don't understand the language, but I believe Koen was saying to Sarah exactly what I was thinking in my mind when he did not turn his chair for her. I thought to myself 'that is terrific that Koen did not turn around. That means he does not have to put these best friends(?) up against each other during the battle rounds'.
