'Like' didn't start being used like that (at least where I lived) until the early 2000s. She's speaking like someone her age. I, unfortunately, do use the 'like' more than I'd like just because it was very popular and present in my formative years when I was growing up. I agree with you, though - it is refreshing to hear someone speak so eloquently ❤

Many years ago I worked as Soleil Moon Frye's personnel protection agent along with Jamie Lunar and Mark Paul Gossler from Saved by the Bell while they were making a movie in Louisiana, Soleil was definitely a handful but what teenagers are not a handful. I remember she had a broken arm at the time and I had to make sure she didn't do anything to make it worse.
