Ikr, I've always loved Brenden. He was literally almost at Indy levels of greatness for The Mummy movies. He was always so likeable and you could tell he was that way in real life. To go along with people being jerks, I've been a fan of the band RUSH since I was a teen in the 90s. Obviously not the most hip band to be listening to in the 90s. But, in the late 2000s/2010s they got their due and were "cool". Heck, they were even in I Love You, Man, with Paul Rudd and Jason Segal. I've never been one to care about what others are doing, I just go my own way, and like what I like. But it's nice when you can kind of flip the bird to the past douchebags, and whatever they were into was just a fad and the people you are into may not have been popular for a time for whatever reason, but you knew they were more than just a flash in the pan and you hang onto the fandom. Heck, I saw RUSH their last 4 tours, best concerts I've ever seen.

If they stop laughing just because of the oscars they are as stupid as Will Smith for that stupid sucker punch of Chris Rock. The Oscars have long since devolved into a running joke of the entertainment industry. The last time I watched them was when they presented an award to the VFX studio for Life of Pi. The VFX studio that literally just went bankrupt because of Hollywood's unfair business practices. When they started trying to call attention to this problem the Oscars people just played music over their speech even though others were on stage for far longer. Nothing just a sham on top of a sham.

But also he has been through a lot, including with his ex financialy destroying him, but also the whole situation with sexual assault! There was a point where Brendan fell off where I was mad at Hollywood for it. I dont mean in a Qunon way, just annoyed that such a talent was being sidelined. He really was amazing and it made no sense he was being passed up. Its like everyone else caught up, and Im really happy for him right now. He truly deserves this kind of happiness, and his total humility and grateful actions put a huge emphasis on that point.

Brendan Fraser was and still is one of my favourite actors when I was growing up. Not because of the way he looks but more to do with how he is as a person and an actor, he is such an entertaining and talented person. That's what makes me love his movies so much. I would have to say that out of all the really awesome movies he has done, my favourite is Encino Man. I can't wait to see what he does next. School Ties was his first lead before Encino Man. There was a scene where he dance and our poor movie cd was just scratched on that scene for playing ot over and over. He was my high school folder front cover along with Jason and Jeremy London.....😂

I am a total sucker for anything Scifi, Fantasy or supernatural... so obviously SMG and Brendan are very high on my list of favorite actors. Growing up in Asia, we didn’t get a lot of movies. But Brendan Fraser made us fall in love with Hollywood. This was before subtitles were popular butwe could understand his movies easily. I guess talent means different things to different people. But I remember people raving about him in the early 2000s and I enjoyed his movies a lot
