Thats the reason she is hired for horror cause she get scared easily and her scared reactions conveyed to the audience. Poker face actors wont sell to horror its like a joke if that happens

@@kakashihatake1869 but the whole genre of “horror” is not necessarily a surprise to the actors, like I get that actors may not know EVERYTHING that is going to happen but I doubt full movie genre change would happen halfway through the movie. The actors would be able to infer if the movie is going to be “scary” or not. It’s still not fully being blind sided. Being casted on a show called American HORROR Story you can probably infer some gore may happen to a few characters. Whether or not it’s your character that’s a different story vs. Going on a talk show hosted by a comedian that is known for being light hearted and fun.
