nicole i am so thankful for you making all of your work and especially being so open on this podcast. it is SO frequent that you mention going through something that i've also been through but haven't really thought about or put the words to the emotions. i relate so hard on the not being used to having someone you're dating actually like you, and being uncomfortable with it. it's so messed up when you think about it!!! i've spent soooo much of my life liking people who did not like me back or were not actually interested in me, i do wonder if that stems from something to do with my parents and upbringing maybe? but also just being a fat person my whole life adds another layer to it all. it's so hard to untangle.

How have I not heard of this ? I'm wondering the same thing 😅. Or why I can't keep them going. many men don't fall for us funny women. I don't know why. I'm autistic and don't know how to flirt like a neurotypical woman. So I try to entertain. I've done this since childhood. Funny = tolerable to be around. When I'm sad and depressed, no one wants to be around me or comfort me,. Even now, finally having friends, realizing they treat me different because I'm autistic. They comfort others, but not me. They gave me a suicide helpline instead. It feels very cold. Anyone relate? As a healthcare worker, I would hate a bunch of loud noise when I came home😅
