Sarah's bold with no boundries, keeping comedy limitless, and creating an example of that by making things such as racism nothing more than the outrageous jokes they are. Some people don't get that her humor is making fun of many horrible things by sometimes imitating them, but comedy can help people become stronger and get through the tough realities we see everyday, being able to laugh off the bad in life is one of the most valuable and healthy things a person can do to survive hard times.

Jan Melet The only reason their Jewishness is important is because antisemitism, misogyny and frustrated desire are key reasons for the out-of-proportion reactions to Silverman. My point is that reactions to Silverman in Holland sound as though they're not about her politics (which she and Stewart have in common) or her Jewishness (ditto), leaving the only the characteristics that have to do with her: the shock aspect of her comedy and the fact that her sketches don't follow the standard monologue structure (which I quite like -- I'm glad that she creates her own sense of form).
