The Jabiru is a great little plane! Normally classed as an ultra-light. I used to fly an even smaller, and slower plane called a Gazelle out of Barwon Heads in Victoria, but a mate of mine used to fly the Jabiru. My mother was born in Mount Gambier, and the house my Grandfather built is still there today! The state bought half the land for a major highway, and the main road now bends around the section the house still stands on. I visited the area in February of 2020, and it was awesome to see the family history still there. The Umpherson Sink Hole is a great spot too!
