His background in Opera and his onstage performances of same, combined with one of the greatest tenor voices ever can elicit emotions you thought you never had...even if you don't understand the lyrics.

È la canzone dedicata A Caruso. Cantante lirico italiano emigrato in America dove ha avuto un grandissimo successo. Poi malato volle tornare in Italia dove si innamorò ancora prima di morire.

Dear coach our Luciano has a unique huge lung capacity that makes his voice so loud and clear. His high developed diaphragm keeps the high note (sry for the Italian do di petto) very clear and for a long time. For this reason we call him tenorissimo because he was for sure the lirical power voice of the past millennium. We have to wait many many centuries to have another one. Thanks for reminding him ❤❤❤

I saw him live in Portland Oregon at one of his last show. I was about 50 feet from him, slightly off to the side, but in front of one of the speakers. At two times during the show, I could hear his voice directly over the loudspeaker. INCREDIBLE power!

This is a modern song, about a famous Italian tenor of early '900, acclaimed worldwide, Enrico Caruso, who at the end of his life is in love with a young woman and spends his last time with her in his birth land, Naples. The song lyrics also mix in some passages from older traditional Neapolitan songs which are in a way a popular musical heritage of Italy, just as opera is the high-end heritage. Opera singers, including Caruso, often recorded this kind of popular music.

Luciano Pavarotti was playing on my stereo loud, when others ( my age, late teens to early twenties) were playing 80's metal bands. He was a wonder, better than Placidio Domingo & Enrico Caruso...imo. PS The song is dedicated to Enrico Caruso.

Buongiorno Sara....... Ti auguro........ Salute prosperità........ Un saluto da Torino...........!!! Perdonami...... Ovviamente il caffè all'italiana.... Il vostro caffè è terribile......!!!😊😊❤

OK, in 01:32. It seems like you arlready know the song and whant to share it with us. I just had the feeling that that was a first time reaction (for no reason at all... it has never bee said in the description). I knew that performance, but a good way to see it again...
