I haven't read Prophet Song but in 2019 Girl, Woman, Other by Bernadine Evaristo won the Booker and I just read it this summer and its phenomenal! Changed my life and perception of what literature can do!!

I’m sorry to hear that you don’t love them! I spend quite a bit of time editing them. I have been really liking them stylistically but I also just want to make my videos more accessible! Maybe I’ll consider YT made captions for my next videos so you have the option to turn them off or on :)

@ believe that and totally hear you! the closed captions might do the trick for those that need it and they go slowly as you speak. But I’m probably in the minority for how much I hate closed captions tbh and was why I asked 😅
