Dr Anita is rapidly becoming my favorite person on the net, I'm South African and she is making me realize that some of the things we thought were normal growing up are in fact abuse and traumatic and they broke us, now we're broken adults

That's right Trauma ends when you end it and thats why it can be healed and you can move on over a period of time. God will also heal you if let him 🙏 Threapy was the blessing in disguise. Never underestimate the power of God through going to Threapy. Your body holds trapped energy and will stay in the body if its not allowed a healthy outlet which over time shows up as medical condition or worse a illness which can be life threatening. So if you have the chance to go to Threapy take God's hand and trust in him he knows how to heal your emotions and heart and the pictures in your head giving you new tools to use to rebuild your life. I am forever grateful 🙏

My father dying when I was 8 years old was my trauma. After 30 years and doing therapy I came to learn that I had abandonment issues. Along with other things. Am grateful for the lesson learned and building a beautiful relationship with God. Therapy has been amazing and will be a part of my life.

Our DNA 🧬 is absolutely changed by trauma. I wasn’t my best self during my motherhood because of being emotionally turmoiled during those most precious years. My daughter learned both great things that makes her the awesome girl and young lady and wife and mother she is, but also she saw me broken, angry, frustrated, distracted, and unbalanced. Mom guilt is real. It seeps into your psyche and is the glue in trauma bond.

Yes, That's why for my mental state of mind and Knowing that Christ redeemed me from the curse of the Law, I have to keep praying for my mother and family members, so that I do not hold any resentment against the very people I grew up and with and love. God Bless Pastor Sara Jakes-Roberts and Dr. Anita Philips, for this powerful video that helps us who are in Christ keep moving forward trusting God.

I just heard you on YouVersion this morning and decided to investigate to see if you had a presence on KZbin. Your analysis about the "DNA" in Jacob's dream and God being the God of generations was brilliant. Thank you for balancing theology and psychology so well as you honor the word of God and are Holy Spirit filled. Your ministry is deeply appreciated. May the Lord continue to kiss & cradle your essential work in the kingdom.

i love the dna=family ladder metaphor. it makes sense biblically, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. i also love how in other talks she equates the heart to the garden of eden. how jesus wants to meet us there and walk with us there. ❤

I wish you were in my area. I need sessions with YOU... I know there are good therapists to be found BUT I found you & my spirit is settled in your teaching & encouragement towards healing. I have a 3 year old son & am going through a divorce. Short marriage, LONG relationship. I sometimes just say to God, " you must be sick of me by now... so many gifts in such a broken woman... I'm sorry." I use to cry freely... now my tears seem to have dried up & the release I need I struggle to find. It almost seems like I'm afraid of crying now... that makes me so very sad. I use to be so open... I don't know how to be vulnerable anymore. I feel so tired & confused... I am literally in survival mode... not fair for this beautiful little boy.

When a person experiences a trauma the best way to deal with it is by forgiving certain people that have really wronged/me and that ends things and things can finally be put in the past :) and God has the power to heal a godly woman’s heart:)
@zandankabinde55262 жыл бұрын
And this right here is the Word if God. No matter how hard it is, the first thing we must do is Forgive. Talking about it is good coz God doesn’t want us to lie abt our emotions or try to hide them. Forgive and let God do the rest. If you are struggling to forgive, it’s ok to ask God to help you. It is tough, it is the High way and there is no other way, dnt let no one deceive you.

Praises to the Lord Jesus,When I was treated for trauma ,the only thing I can hang on to that helps me ,I remember them at the hospital taught how to cope with trauma one of the ways was that staying busy ,it helps you from falling into depression And become institutionalized .” So far ,I don’t let people decide my Mind God has a Way for me in my Spirit in my Mind by His Spirit”. God is Everything ;His Words are Settled in Heaven ,No matter what the people think and say; God is the Truth. ,if say “She’s crazy - oh well.

I would LOVE to go to therapy but I only want to see a Holy Spirit filled Believing therapist or Psychiatrist to treat me. I don't want to hear feed back, advice, or looking simply from a book or the thoughts of sn educated and trained "person". I need to hear from Holy Spirit, not just " Man"; if I am to truly healthy. Also, because there are Some things that you just can Not learn in a lecture hall, classroom or book, and due to the types of traumatic experiences I have ender, I prefer a woman therapist or psychiatrist because I need and want advice from someone who has the ability to "empathize" and not just "sympathize". I also need them to accept my insurance, and I'm located in New York, so my personal needs or requirements have been difficult to find. If only someone like Dr. Anita was around me. I only found one in my entire life but she went home to be with The Lord. 🤷🏼♀🥴🥺🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 So until God shows me who He wants me to talk to, My Dr. Ruach is doing just fine! 🤭🤭😜😉🥰🥰🥰🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Honey, that wasn't trauma for Jacob! It was divine assignment! And "that" woman was a Holy woman of God guiding her son in his divine mission. Esau was a brute. Jacob was to bring forth the 12 tribes of Israel. Sarah? You do know God told Abraham to submit to his wife's wisdom, right? Sarah wasn't broken. Sarah is called mother of all. Smh!

Woahhh lol that story is not about abuse or manipulation 😂 Dr. Anita (Shem) gave the prophecy to Rebekah from God. & she was advised to tell no one .. not even Isaac her husband. And she was so confident in Gods promise/word she told Jacob if anything goes wrong she’ll take the blame. Because God told her the prophecy, The bloodline of Judah had to go through Jacob which would eventually breed Christ .. Also see Genesis 25:23-25
