I'm not a fan of off-road vehicles with non-stock wheel and tire size, but I'll make an exception: fit & finish looks immaculate. In the diesel world they taught me to use a Hand Truck to take wheels on & off (not that this would work for the spare). Mounted tyres are really awkward to handle because the size, center of mass and shape makes locking your shoulder, and spine alignment difficult, but not impossible. I vote for powder coating the bracket blue. Keep up the magnificent work!

Nice thing about having a matching, full-size spare is doing 5 tire rotations. You can get something like 20% additional life out of the tires vs a normal 4 tire rotation.
@Globbs3 жыл бұрын
They're my favorite tires but if you're running a large tire on a solid front axle you may have a problem with death wobble due to the sidewall being a bit softer. On this a Bronco that's no issue though.

It always amazes me how wheels, tires, and fender flairs can instantly turn a “buffed” vehicle into a “body builder” vehicle. Sarah your wheel and tire swap are very smart. I did a similar swap with my 1987 Vanagon Syncro. The original heavy aluminum 14" wheel and tire combo were quite heavy even though the diameter was only 25". I put on Audi 5000 Quattro 15" wheels and a 235/75R 5 tire with a diameter of 29". Because of the light weight Audi forged rims my wheel and tire package is lighter than the smaller factory offering.

But the tire size I chose is the same size as the originals as not to mess up the speedo calibration which you might have to do with your Bronco or do a gear change to bring back the original RPM range for keeping the mile per gallon in the correct range
