@@floki1664 Firing up the NSX is somewhat unsettling because it doesn't have a conventional starter. Rather its engine springs to life like many other hybrids, using the big sandwich motor-there's no chin-chin-chin sound first, just the sound of the V-6 lighting off. The engine's note isn't particularly loud or distinct, except that with the exhaust baffles closed, the exhaust air squeezing through the mufflers sounds almost like a cigarette-lighter-powered tire pump. Watching your brain running behind the car trying to catch up was the most genuine reaction I've seen in a car review so far. @@jonathanm9436 Having the mechanical switches in the glove box means you can switch them on and off while the car's ignition is off . I was at a car meet once and the door handle popper kept popping while i walked close..So without starting the car and going into a bunch of menus i just opened my glove box and flipped the switch to off while i was at the meet and flipped it back on afterwards. If you've owned many a car in your life you'll also know that many cars have a mechanical trunk open and trunk lockout located in the glove box. My BMW has one as well.. That is possibly a safety thing incase you can't start your car but can still lock or unlock the trunk in an emergency. BTW, with your logic the car has a manual gas door and frunk popper too would you like to bury that in a electronic menu so you have to turn on your car every time you fill up the gas?

@@leemiks Interesting. I see what you mean now. These switches are not something I've ever come across before - and these things are controlled either in settings or on the key fob. Perhaps it's a location thing. Also our petrol cap doors and boot releases are electrically operated. All the best.
