Aaaah, this is the same sort of lovely reaction I want from people who get my adult coloring pages. I love drawing details, and it's for this exact reason - you find something new in the design each time. I can only hope that someone out there has the same fun afternoon coloring what I draw in the same way.

Like most people have said already gorgeous! I'm watching this during a thunderstorm in Sydney Australia. When you do the other page with the fish on it, us pastel or light colors on it to contrast the page that you've already done in this video. Also I'm going to give this a try with my Derwent Artists' pencils & see what the out come of them are, as i've got a Frozen adults coloring book (which I got from Big W).

Another awesome video Sarah! I love how you are not afraid to share in your "mistakes" or "OOPSIES". I see what you were talking about with the black in the background not mixing that well with the blue but other then that the fish, the fins and everything else turned out really good and vibrant! I think that it is awesome that you found yourself in a bit of a "art trance" during the white dot method as that's a place we should all strive to get to with each art session. I also think that the addition of so many white dots gives the mixture a pretty luminosity. ❣❣❣ Edit: Oh! and I forgot! Yes! Please do more videos about Watercolor Pencils!

Wow. For context I'm a watercolor and ink artist. I love using alcohol markers for my art work but never for coloring books. Then I find out they blend colored pencils. Now they blend inktense pencils. And I've had a 4 pack of arteza blenders just sitting for ages. This channel is FULL of amazing tips. This one is life changing. And the blender pen gives much more control than waterbrush. OMG and I JUST had the Chromaflow 24 pack delivered today. This video was made for me.

Watching you choose your colors is an 'art-form' in itself. I love that you get carried away with the embellishing with the paint pens. It's what draws us into the little details. Would love to see you do the 'crowns' I know you'd come up with some beautiful metals and golds, and then there's those 'gems"..... I literally also ran out the door and bought a copic alcohol blender to try on my 30yr old caran d’ache supracolor that I never knew how to enjoy or appreciate till now. Thank you! Been watching your videos since December and they have inspired me to do art again since school days, hope there will be more tutorials and sped up colour along videos like this one to learn from you. Your enthusiasm is golden💝👍👏👏👏 I really appreciate this lesson. I love to color but I agonize over colors, so this really helps. Plus, you’re gorgeous.👍

Wow! I doubt I would have made the fish such a bold color. I'd have gone pale blue or something and it wouldn't have come out anywhere NEAR as well as this! I really learned something. I need to be more gutsy and use contrasting colors more often to get beautiful results like this. Wonderful job, as always - plus educational. Thank you!

Absolutely stunning! I found a small box of Derwent Ink tense pencils buried in a drawer that I must have purchased for card making once upon a time. It was great to watch your process and to get some tips. I am really learning such a great deal from your videos and blog. I love your color catalogs as it has helped me to get over my Fear of colors. I have finally learned there really are no mistakes in art! Thanx a bunch 💜

Wow! This is amazing! It reminds me of a more gorgeous "The Rainbow Fish" (childrens book). I loved how packed this video is with tips and tricks! Entertainment with learning intertwined is the best way to do things! I have an adult coloring book from the same author/artist. This inspires me to break out that book! Thanks, Sarah, for inspiring me with every video you put out!

So stunning! The ocean/tail fin was especially breathtaking! Such gorgeous colours and the way they were mixed as well as the paint pens really made for some beautiful and lively water! This colouring book have the type of drawings where I'd probably need a printer in order to ever colour a single page as I'd be convinced/scared I'd ruin the beautiful pictures with my crude skills (I've only recently picked up colouring again and only after watching your channel for a few months!)

Don't be scared to ruin your pages. See every new page as an opportunity to grow your creativity, not a challenge for perfection. I think that's the biggest thing I've tried to learn over the past year, and it's been the biggest lesson in enjoying coloring more. And as a result, my skills have improved much faster because I'm actually using my books instead of leaving them on the shelf! So get your books out and USE THEM!

@@SarahRenaeClark Awww, thank you! That is actually a really nice way to look at it. I will try to change my mentality while colouring, so that I look more at the improvement of skill than the fact I don't yet have the skills to make the exact outcome I pictured in my head before I began.
