The Stand is probably my favorite Stephen King. I really loved it too. Back then I considered it a post apocalyptic book and I remember thinking about it towards the beginning of the pandemic.

Congrats on reading so many of those books!. I saw the original made-for-tv mini-series for The Stand (co-starring Rob Lowe in one of the bit-parts) and it was fantastic. While I don’t remember anything about the story, I do remember absolutely loving the viewing experience. Another series remake was released fairly recently and I turned it off after 5 minutes. Ick. I want to read “I work in a public library”. It sounds like a wonderful palate cleanser. Thank you!
