Copywriters - The Most IMPORTANT Page On Your Website

As a copywriter, the most important page on your website is your homepage. Let's dig into what makes a homepage successful.
First, you want to make your web page one long page. This is important because each time someone has to click on something to see more information, the less likely they are to stay on the page. If everything is on one long page, it is more likely that they will naturally scroll through it. Next, the information above the fold, or the very first thing the person sees, should tell them exactly who you are and who you serve. Being super clear is really important. Then, as they scroll down, use your copywriting skills to speak to them as if they are one person and that you can solve their problems. Making them feel understood will go a long way. You then want to move pretty quickly into a cta, such as setting up a consultation. When you do this, make it sound like you are coming to the table with a lot of value. You also want to make sure the website looks good and loads quickly. Also, use fonts that are clear and easy to read.

Great info! My website has a ton of different pages - time to make a change. 'Cos you're right. The best websites are all on one page. Making the prospect click anything other than the CTA is a level of unnecessary frustration. They should be able to understand *everything* they need to know just by scrolling.
