The Saramonic SR M3 features an additional mic input, headphone for mic monitoring, 0/+10dB audio gain, 200Hz audio cut filter, uses a AAA battery, with results shown in the video.
What is apparent after this video is that the low frequency response is a little weak in the Saramonic SR-M3 but at nearly 1/4 the cost of my default mic (Audio Technical AT8024 amzn.to/1l17MrK), some might let that reduction in quality slide.

I never owned a rode. But usually with cheaper ones, you may need to do a little EQ.

takstar vs saramonic which is better ?

I generally like amplified ones which has lower noise if done right. Takstar is amplifier but not stereo.

It reminds me of a tele-conference sound. Hmmmm, not bad but the 8024 is def more well rounded and easier on the ears.

It sounds to me it does not have as much low end response. The +10dB did not reduce noise noticeably to me. You get what you pay for certainly in this case.
