Saramonic Vmic Recorder Review

I recently purchased this odd shaped microphone / recorder for use with my Sony cameras. This is a handy short shotgun microphone as it features a recorder and headphone jack. Hopefully you will get a good idea as to how useful this great value microphone is from Saramonic.

Does it work with mobile phone or laptop?

It has a 3.5mm jack for the line out. Provided you have the correct cable, for a phone you will need a trs to trss cable and the phone will need a 3.5mm headphone jack it should work but I would suggest you check with the phones instruction manual to see that the hesadphone jack can be used as an audio in jack. As for a PC I do not know as I have not tried it. I have MacBook Pros which have no mic jack so cannot test this for you.
