Why does this word chatur come so many times in our music?

see there is one word चतुः when added before विंशति gives ths word चतुर्विशति meaning 24 and there is another word चतुर meaning proficient .Here this word is used in context of showing Shri Rama's qualities as being proficient in साम‌ दाम दंड भेद , the word proficient ( चतुर ) is in focus and that's why used here. It doesn't imply the number 4 here

While in Sanskrit , one is eka ( changes according to gender coming after it ) for masculine it is एकः , for feminine it is एका and for neuter it is एकम् Two is द्वे or द्वौ and use depends on context. 3 is त्रीणि and four is चतुः or चत्वारि

Here the word actually pertains as Shri Rama is actually very well versed ( chatura ) in utilising all the four - Saama , Daama , Danda and Bheda .
