Basically what happened was Noelle had secretly planned to make Catra and Adora a couple the entire time but obviously couldn’t propose the idea at first because yknow tv shows don’t usually accept gay character ideas unless it’s necessary to the storyline. So Noelle just secretly laid it out until season 5 when she proposed the idea saying “they *have* to kiss” and yeah bam it happened

Yeah, for me the only glaring issue was the character whiplash Frosta went through in season 2. To me she seemed mature-ish and was someone who respected others and was to be respected. Her changing as she realizes that she doesn't need to put herself under constant pressure to be "grown-up" which symbolizes much of what the newest generation (and prob every other one) goes through, giving them a healthy role model is to be accepted. Maybe she was down on herself alot. Irritability was seen in the princess prom episode, although it was kinda justified cuz Adora was in a gay rage most of the episode. Maybe she had a couple of conflicted feelings on the war and what it's done to what most kids she knows were able to have, a childhood. As she deals with these feelings her looking up to Glimmer feels very natural, so I can see her eventually becoming annoying, but the way they wrote her... It just seems like they skipped to the end of all this, had no mention of her previous demeanour, and cranked up her potential personality flaws to 50. I know they need to work with things like bugets, time and crew, but I wish they left in more of the mature side of her. You can see her get better by season four but I still don't like the way she was written. Also yes, this is just to go on a rant about Frosta.

I have not seen a storyline this subtly serious and complicated in a very long time. In Bow's defense, he was kidnapped and had no clue what happened to his best friend or what was going to happen to himself. He has no idea what kind of person Kyle is(a total bean who must be protected) and wants to escape his prison. I like a few characters from the Horde (mainly Scorpia) and must admit that they have the more interesting story line going.

I think they made Entrapta 30 on paper because they didn't want to deal with the fallout of Hordak hooking up with a teenager. It's like Disney's Princess Jasmine in reverse. She is supposed to be 15 in the original movie. However, without the Sultan explicitly stating that her 16th birthday is coming up, would you have guessed her age? That's the body of a 25 year old, not someone in their freshman year of high school.

OOookay, so I watched the show, again, and I must say the people saying the initial seasons weren't good don't know what they're talking about. On subsequent watches, you see things and can't help but go, "Aaaah... I see now". I honestly don't think this show has a weak season or a weak character. I mean I expected to dislike the first season and Swifty but didn't, like at all! Sea Hawk got on my nerves a bit though, still didn't dislike him. Probably the strongest cast of characters in any show I've seen. And I really think the earlier seasons get better with subsequent viewings. The final seasons lost their "edge of the seat" hook on these viewings but they were still phenomenal. Boy, what I wouldn't give for another season with any scenario, even just a slice of life setting because some arcs need to be finished and I want MOAR!
