HUNK is the Reason I was able to Unlock the Other VR Characters after unlocking him, Leon is HARD to get 4 Stars for Village!!! But I have No Idea how Good HUNK is OFF of VR. Is he just as Easy or is there a Few Drawbacks when going NON-VR? I'm Fairly New to Resident Evil, but ONLY to ACTUALLY AND LEGITIMATELY PLAYING the Game, I, at least, know that, because of @TheSphereHunter, it exists and that RE4 Changed Everything!

The island stage is busting my balls hardcore... I never am able to keep a consistent combo on this stage because enemies seemingly disappear until my combo score resets

Because you're not passing the spawn lines frequently enough. For Island, the spawn lines are typically ladders, stairs, tunnels and long/wide open areas. Keep moving as I do.

How come you were not getting anymore tmp ammo drops towards the end of your castle run? Is it a vr thing or just unlucky?

In VR, ammo drops do not disappear with time, so if you don't collect them, then the game won't drop any more until you pick up the ones already on the field.

Just something that came to mind, how to you feel about the way that melee attacks work in VR? Do you have an idea for a more immersive version?

I'm fine with it, as making them fully first person would induce serious motion sickness for some people.

@@Sarcosuchas Yeah, I don't have much problem with them besides the suplex that requires the movie theatre to work... And the mine cart ride, it was pretty disappointing when the fastest part in it was a cutscene, especially when it wasn't in the original game. Still, I'm really enjoying RE4 VR

No. Shoot them in the face once to stun them then get close. It works like any other melee in the game.

@@Sarcosuchas I was thinking giving the chance to do them manualy, kind of like in superhot vr if you place your fists in from of you in direction to enemy it will blow up its head. So like, being able to actualy twist ganado's necks, or do weskers super punch. Kicks and roundhouses would need some smooth animations tho in that case.

Vr mercenaries is weird, because the game itself is way easier with your advanced mobility and accuracy, but getting 5 stars requires so many more points that it feels like it's harder.

Dude, HUNK is busted. Unlocked him and within a couple tries, I got two 5 stars with him. He feels much better than Leon. Especially with the neck break supreme combo.

Probably because of the first person nature of VR, Wesker also has a knife.

HUNK is undoubtedly the best for Village; while Wesker and Ada are best for maps like Dockside due to their rifles allowing for greater range. But generally speaking, the characters are fairly even in the VR version.

Personally I think Krauser is the best character. He's the first character I got 5 stars in all the maps with. If you're accurate and quick with that bow it's a cake walk.
