Thanks for coming on Papa, it was beautiful heartfelt Sarde! Don't forget to Like and Subscribe people! Here are the timestamps: ♥ [0:00] SSS - Sunday, Sarde, Subscribe! [2:40] Are the Lebanese okay or not? [8:32] Was life during the Lebanese Civil War truly better than it is now? [13:04] What happened to Medea & Mouin’s on August 4th 2020 [18:49] Does joking about a situation mean we’re not taking it seriously? [22:44] Psychotherapy is important, but a diagnosis should never be used to define a person [28:60] In times of crises individuals should sit together and talk about it [36:16] The misconceptions around mental health medication [39:27] The impact of discovering the unconscious and the meaning behind it [47:32] The solution starts with SILENCE [50:52] How we try to erase the past and the truths within [54:40] Humor is a rebellion against societal norms [57:33] Did the Lebanese people manage to process and understand August 4th 2020? [1:16:17] Evil is the lack of empathy for others [1:24:40] Chawki Azouri Vs. Michel Aoun [1:28:49] Hope is derived from a human’s instinct and desire to live

Mental health is essential. I went through high levels of anxiety and depression for one full year before I finally got help. Overthinking, isolation, fear and the need to control everything (while everything was literally falling apart around me) made me feel like utter shit. Sometimes you need to take 10 steps back, seek help before you can get back on your feet. I have no idea why this subject is still considered taboo in 2022.

Dr Azouri gave us psychology courses at the Lebanese University. When he gave lectures it was always a full house . This episode brought back some much memories, he used to make us laugh, think and question ourselves and everything around us. After more than 12 years I still remember a lot of what he taught us, it was memorable. I hope he knows that we appreciate what he gave us, a whole generation of doctors owe so much to him.

Great sarde, thanks heaps. I like how Dr Chawki used examples from other countries so that we can look at things objectively. Just wanted to add that we don't only hold the luggage and trauma of what happened since 1975, but of plenty of what happened before. Each group had some sort of a "big sister" helping sometimes but still Lebanese people have been through a lot. Our ancestors went through a lot of hardship just so that we can have a Lebanon. May God protect this country

I liked this episode a lot. I write in English cuz it is easier to Medéa to understand❤. I like those kinds of episodes that talk about human spirits and the way our brians deal with stress or grief. I want to learn to support my soul through the way. By the way, l was listening also to your episode with Anas Bukhash while my Swedish fiance was there. He told me the episode is so interesting. I want to give this feed back so you keep going❤.
