Oh I remember those late 1970s. I was a little kid and those songs were played on loudspeakers as there was no television. It makes me emotional, Life was difficult but great. No money but a lot of joy. No hustle and hurry and plenty of time to move around with kids almost all day till the sun set. No study and play all the time. I wonder if it was real or a dream.

Yes there was no money, no ambition but great joy in listening to these songs. Middle class life was difficult but still we hung on to the small pleasures of life and found happiness in them. India was not America and we had no great dreams still we survived. I am 62 now and can remember the sixties and seventies.

True...as a little girl growing up during the late 80s life was simple and these songs are pure nostalgia. Amol Palekar is one of my favourite..he had such a next door boy looks...and his movies was so much related to normal daily life..it was fascinating, brought an air of freshness & so real. These songs brings back those glorious days of mid & late 70's & early 80's..life was simple,no gadgets,no complications,no rush,human bond existed,people had less money but had pure joy,fellow feelings existed...wish God gives us those times just once more plss...so nostalgic.
