I recently bought a used bike with a Sargent seat and just on the 4 hour ride home I was amazed! My tailbone which I bruised in swift water rescue training 2 years ago always ached after and hour ride. After 4 hours I felt no pain in that tailbone or my even me knees. When I purchased the bike I didn’t think much about it. I didn’t even know the name, but when I got home I was convicted entirely!

I'd contact Sargent directly with that question. They can provide bike specific fitment and measurements for you. We don't have an SV650 to test your question on! -CK

Sargent seat comfort and quality is top notch. Their process for making foam and ergonomically shaping seats is very impressive. Another option that is less of an investment than one of these seats is the AirHawk seat pad. They work amazing and can be strapped on over your stock seat. ~Ali

Wow, fantastic job explaining the Sargent options. If KZbin had a star-rating system you would get a solid 5! ...and this is coming from a girl who is usually pretty critical of KZbin vids. Going to order a seat for our KLX, as I ride the back and the seat is way to uncomfortable. Thanks!

I want to get a low profile seat for my 2005 KLR650 and was wondering how much lower would the Sargent seat make the bike? It's between this brand and Corbin.

I am planning to buy the sargent seat for my sv650s. I am told this seat will also 1/4 inch lower. is this true?

I have a 2016 bandit gsf 1250 sa... I'm trying to decide between the Sargent and Russell. Help?!?
@RevZilla8 жыл бұрын
A Sargent is very likely more affordable and will work for most people. However, a Russell Day Long will be custom-made for you and will be the most comfortable for long-distance riding. -DrewZilla

How does Sargent seats compare with Corbin?
@RevZilla8 жыл бұрын
We don't carry Corbin products, but a few of my coworkers run their seats. In general, they tend to be a little harder and less-padded from my experience, but shaped well for long-range comfort. From a quality perspective, they are both high quality and made in the USA. I prefer Sargent because I like a more plush seat, though. -TeamZilla AJ

Sir, can the Sargent Seat be customized according to the rider's height, I mean to say that can you make low height Sargent Seat compare to stock higher height seat in Yamaha R1M for 5'5" or 5'6" or 5'7" rider and for pillion rider? I am eagerly waiting for your reply. Thank you.

No, the seats are not customized according to rider height. -DrewZilla

so i've been told corbin seats are not the best, are these seats better?? I have a VFR800 and want a better seat, can usually ride an hour or two without needing a break but it still hurts. I want more comfort, what are the best aftermarket seats money can buy?
@bobgc19546 жыл бұрын
Try the original std seat. Usually the best.

I have a new 2012 Yam FJR1300. With the stock seat on its lowest setting and with stock suspension it's just a bit too tall in the seat. I need to drop the overall saddle height down about 1.5". I can't quite get both feet flat on the ground when sitting on the bike. Will your seat aid in getting my feet on the ground better?
@RevZilla10 жыл бұрын
CelticArmory Most likely not. Most aftermarket seats are the same height as stock, but much firmer. As a result, they end up being slightly higher than stock. Every once in a while you'll run into a "low seat height" variant which would work. However, it doesn't look like we carry one for you. Sorry about that! -Kraus-e

CelticArmory Look into Corbin seats, they are lower for many bikes, from what I have been told take a while to break in, but do get better with age, not that they are bad from the get go, they are a bit firmer to start with that's all, and for many people this is great. Look at videos of your bike that use them, that is what I would do, if you ride a lot there are custom made seats from Russel all day long seats & many others, here is the link > www.day-long.com/ < hope this info helps ?

I bought a Sargent BMW f650gs seat from Revzilla and absolutely love it! It would have been way cool if you offered it with the optional sun yellow piping, but the silver looks great, too.

I found one for my ST1300 at the website above... However, they do not ship to New Zealand. Can you suggest an aftermarket seat maker for a 2007 ST1300 that will ship to New Zealand?

Many of our international customers use reshippers to get oversized or fragile items over to them. MYus.com and Aramex.com are popular options. -Zack
