For defense challenge go low trophy ~700 and disconnect the game. Players will attack a lot, but just with one troop so they go down in trophy. That way you can get around 25 attacks per hour (removing shields). I am currently at 4826/5000

also if you have maxed clock tower and you use the boost once per day, it boost your gem mine by 10 times for 30 minutes, which equals 300 minutes in 30 minutes, so 300-30= 270 more minutes per day = 4.5 more hours per day, so if daily production (24 hour production) equals 4.8 gems, the actual production per day will be the one in 28.5 hours, which is 5.7 gems, so technically your gem mine can produce up to 5.7 gems per day

Theres actually a way to get the unbreakable achievement quite easily if you want to claim those gems. Theres a strategy you can find on youtube where what you do is drop down to bronze league and have a base set up to have mutiple raids on it. Doing this you can get like 40 defences an hour, sure it's still slow but it's better than waiting decades to get the acheivement. Love your videos Kenny Jo :>

My battle machine is upgrading to level 28. It only takes a few minutes a day on builder hall. I don't mind it. It's not hard it just takes a long time and you have to be smart about how you spend your resources.

@@xheecj I should mention that I've been buying gold pass. But the early levels took a long time for me too because you have to spend elixir on other things like upgrading the lab, gold storages and new army camps. Don't waste elixir on barracks once you've unlocked cannon carts. Giants and cannons are all you need. Once I got to BH9 and maxed cannon carts, I was able to put all elixir into the BM and keep upgrading nonstop. Plus I got runes of builder elixir from clan games and gold pass. It's a grind but slow and steady wins the race. Good luck.

I think Jo forgot to mention that we get 40gems from the gem mine per week only if we use the free clock tower boost every day which gives 28.5 hours of gems produced every day. If we don't boost the lvl9 clock tower every day we get only 33.6 gems per week with a lvl9 gem mine

9:00 there is a way to get that achievement easily and very fast but for it you have to go online and delete your shield like after every 10 or 15 minutes and your base should be maxed+ good layout as well and bronze league

I know this is old, but getting defenses is not all that hard. I'm a TH12 in Master's and I regularly get people attacking me with full armies and landing somewhere in the 40% range. Now, I've had that achievement completed for a good while (yes, all 5000), and a good portion of them came back when dropping trophies was much more common than it is now, but the point is I'm still getting legitimate defenses at a relatively high level. Some keys for success: have a good base. Pay attention to your defense log, and watch replays to see where or how you're being hit most often and make subtle changes (which could include shuffling certain buildings or defenses around, or prioritizing them in your upgrade list). If you don't want to or can't do that yourself, get a base from somewhere like Clash Champs (that Jo has advertised before) that does well against the kind of attackers you see most. And here's a big one: if you happen to get close to maxing a TH and are pretty much done with a particular type of currency (say, elixir), put one or more of your storages on the outside of the base. Attackers will gladly sacrifice a few trophies to get a much-needed resource for basically nothing (i.e. saving time and cost on troop training). I'm doing that now with my Dark Elixir storage, as my King and Queen are both at 65, and all I have left are a few DE upgrades in the Lab, none of which are super important to me, and all of which take so long to complete that I can easily get back any DE I might need via farming attacks like Sneaky Gobs. Hope that helps.

In my opinion....you can also get some gems from selling magic items that you dont use like resource potion hero potion and power potion (10 gems per potion) if your troops are maxed and the shovel of obstacles(50 gems per shovel)...... and for the free to play players its useful in getting some skins for the heroes which make the game feel a lot better....also gems can be used for buying books to finish upgrades because its cheaper than just using the gems to finish the upgrade

A Player can also earn free gems by using all their raid day medals to purchase magic items from the trade. Then Sell all the magic items.
