you are 100% correct, this is another company which loved buzztv so much wanted to have there own model. but buzztv i guess made a deal with them and totally created a there own name brand box, i strongly believe this is almost same as X5 series.

How do I reset this box. It won't move of the update screen. Just bought this and I put my wifi password in and I checked for updates and it won't let me move from this screen. Wat a bummer

First i would restart the box, look at the back where HDMI is you should see a AV Port, make sure HDMI is connected, TV is on, use a toothpick and place it and feel the little click hold that and put your Power line back on and hold the click for 15seconds, it will take you to Recovery screen. select factory reset.

I just picked one up so far so good.. I just wish the remote that comes with it would operate the TV on and off and TV volume...😢😢 Is there any remote that would do both operate the box and TV instead of having two remotes?

that part really depending on your TV, if you have older TV i am sure it will work, the newer Tv's using mixture of bluetooth and WIFI to make remote work, and very little amount of IR. mostly RF. which this remote only can process is IR.

I bought the box aweek ago. Worked fine until yesterday.I turned the box in the morning the come comes on power light on which is blue. Tv on and the box just powered on blue .I change cables,call internet is s fine I don’t know what to do can anyone help please 😢

I have a major red flag when it comes to the saro 5000gt it appears to be using buzz tv firmware which is made and developed for Buzz tv boxes (Mygica) which may cause a legal issue in the future

How does it compare to buzz tv x5 ? It looks identical, from my own experience buzztv does 1 update per box (and only if something is broken), forget about upgrade to newer android. Also, what about root access ? It got internal portal, but there is no mention of STB emulator/STB emulator pro and no mention about remote. Nvidia is quite old now but they get regular updates and that's why they stand above all android boxes.

I have a full review on our website. No need for 3rd party apps like STB emulator or pro version. And the Remote is IR Remote which I have shown but only designed for the Saro app. Plus compare to X5 this is almost the same.

What is PVR + ? It is just record and if you are asking for multi recording at same time you to have a Xcode account and with your provider and they support multi login then it will work. Your channels guys know these. Timeshift is not avaliable on this box.

@@xctechs thanks for the info. PVR Plus is a feature that you can set the device to wake up and record and then shut back down after recording. Some boxes like the buzztv X5, xr4500, xrs4500 among others have this feature. Since this box was somewhat similar to the x5, I was curious if it had it. Thanks again

@@joeblizzards81 I know it suppose to work to wakeup and record, I always had issue with box waking up and not having internet correct because of WIFI sleep mode. or wakeup and then login to server and look for channel and that channel been down so replaced with total different channel and ending up missing 4 minute of the show or totaly recorded different show due to channel move by channel guys. so at the end it hit and miss not not because of the box but internet connection or channel guys.

Hi, I have this box. It's pretty good and run on buzz 5. But, I have issue with time shift. Whatever I do, and I try everything ( sd card, local, usb stick on 3.0) no Mather what, it always have a little glitch/picture skip every 4 or 5 second !!But, the sound is good. I try the same server on same wifi with my formuler z10 and Avery thing is smooth on formuler. Help me because really want to like that box! Be able to download every VOD is amazing but I need the time shift to work well ..

Make sure younare connected to internet the update page will go away. If still having problem msg from official page of saro they can help you fix it.

Ok. It wouldn't let me click on update. I changed to mouse and then clicked on it as it was grayed out before. It then updated it and allowed me to reboot. It's installing apps now so hopefully this will help someone else.

the device will not connect to any of my wifi connections. i use my guest network but it also will not connect to the home network, note my WP encryption is WP2/Wp3, anyone have same issue

Remember WPA3 is a new technology made for wifi AX and wifi 6 compatible devices. Won't work with any android boxes you bought 2022 and earlier. Setup net as WPA2 and your golden.

@@xctechs actually the router encryption is set to Wp2/wp3 it is a combo and it works with my older shield and firestick.

@Larry Stolberg if wp3 will not work wp2 dose work all your devices hanging on your wp2 Nvidia or firestick they are using wp3. Check your router none of them using wp3

@@xctechs i think you misunderstood, The Assus 88U a wifi6 router in the aes set up, you pick WP2/Wp3 personal, which means if Wp 3 will not work on the particular device, then it will default to wp2, i check the shield and the firestick all pre 2022 devices, and they all work and they have interenally AC wifi 5

I have same device and I have 2 questions. Does this have a navigation bar and why does it keep disconnecting from internet . Box close to router. Maybe I am doing something wrong, not sure. It's same box as my 4500 but sure doesn't operate the same .thx

1. Os 11 don't have status bar 2. This is equal to X5 box and not 4500. Which means it is better. 3. Go to wifi settings and click on wifi name and select forget and try to connect again. Make sure it is 5GHz wifi. Keep me updated.

@Hyper1 wifi name should say it, if your using ISP modem/router then you are using mesh network.
