Man, this is amazing! I want one ASAP. I just hope the real-world experience is as awesome as it looks in this video.

If this actually works, that's amazing. But it would be great if my otherwise awesome Qrevo Curv could receive an update to recognize cables. A top-of-the-line-model should recognize cables and avoid them reliably if the manufacturer can design a robot that can throw socks into a basket and play with your pet.

That´s exactly why i returned my Qrevo Pro. The Obstacle Avoidance of Roborock is really bad for the price. Instead i bought a Dreame L10s Ultra Heat. The App and the navigation is a bit behind Roborock but the obstacle avoidance is much better. I hope the new Roborock models are much better in this aspect.

@@tjhf96 I don't like steam cleaning bc it has caused our silk rug to rot in the past.

@@Meow-1892 it’s not steam, it just heats the water up like a keurig basically lol

Trying to become a personal robot but failing at obstacle avoidance. Bring back the rotating lidar with the rotating mop and ditch the failing solid state

How good does the robot work without an internet connection? And when will Roborock start to officially support the HomeAssistant integration.
@jsks769052 сағат бұрын
What is the point of spending $2k on a nice robo vacuum when you can't replace the battery in 3 years???? Your support department is incompetent. I have emailed them many times and all they do is kick the ball to the retailer for warrant when the vacuum is out of warranty. Going to give Narwal a real hard look as an alternative

That's essentially this. It has the round floor cleaning mops.

Why not focus on getting the brush bar to the very edges of the robot. You could integrate the wheels into the brush bar on separate bearings/pulley system to motors mounted above?

The gripper design is bad. I've tested a lot of different Gripper for Industrial Robots in the past and what worked best for multi purpose were those soft 4 finger rubberband grippers.

With cameras (surveillance), robotic arms (destruction), networking (backhaul), and Chinese brands (security concerns), the future world looks like it will be quite interesting.
