Seriously like how do You register business? The old website had a separate place to register businesses. Not on this one. And Clearly I'm not the only one with this frustrating concern

@@albertomarcelloni4070 well I just ended up calling the SARS call centre and got assisted telephonically by someone. Haven't checked since if the website/app is still problematic but still it's frustrating

Ive been trying to get the answer to this. cant find it anywhere online. when they assisted you telephonically did they add your business under your individual sars profile as a taxpayer or is separate?

@@thabogontse4450 Apparently it's was added under the same profile from individual and can thereby also access your business. But must confess I don't log on much, unless I need to like submit a return which I should be doing very soon actually, so I haven't checked in a while and don't remember if it's still the same. So I'd say double check that by asking after they help you if you call them telephonically

Log in to your personal E-filing, click on home at the top, click on user on the left, click on change website profile, choose "organisation" and submit... when you login again you will be able to register a company. This may take up to 24 hours. The SARS Call Centre is actually very helpful with this.

You have register as an individual and then in that individual profile add your business but it's a painful process now

Hi I also didn’t get my OTP number but I’ve submitted my documents. It’s in submitted status so I’ll waiting to hear from them. Did it eventually get approved

They do that all for you every month, dont worry it will be done without you doing anything, you do need to register for a tax number though, most bussiness could do that for you easily though. The only part of tax you have to do for most of your life is the returns once a year ( unless you own your won bussiness then provisional tax is done 4 times I year I think ) SARS and your wrk will take off the amount you owe and give it to SARS, then once a year you get an IRP5 form and do your tax return to see if you get any of that money back or if you owe them anything extra.
