T. Nile That was my brother William (Bill) Barringer. I knew he played guitar (so do I) but I never knew he taught guitar. Amazing what you find out years later. Sadly Bill passed away in 1995, we miss him and it was great to see this show to remember him as well.

T. Nile What’s ironic is that Bill and I have a brother “Bob” who is a Catholic priest (a Basilian though, not a Franciscan) AND a brother “Jim” who is an atheist. I am a Catholic Deacon and retired Computer I.T. guy, but like Bill, I am the only one of our eight boys and a girl in the family who is also a musician and an artist like Bill was. Three of my brothers, Jim, Alex and Leslie were all terrific writers too, just like a Bill. Jim and Leslie and Alex and me also did a lot of professional acting when we were living in Los Angeles in the early 60’s.

Bill taught me guitar when I was a small child in vancouver - he was good friends with my parents and they used to jam a lot ! We miss miss him too! Where do you live these days?
