@Astrocide my brother works with the SBS and is homing to train up special forces in a few years as he is a royal marine officer. And I will tell you these SBS guys are so good because they have emotions they don’t want psychopaths in that line. Because they want to be able to control your human emotions. A soldier with no emotions is a useless soldier. In fact my brother has heard of men being withdrawn from training and active combat in both the Royal Marines and special forces training for being to ruthless. I mean literally enjoying causing slow long and agonising deaths on the field. He just said their so sick in the head it made him feel physically sick some of the guys who have been dishonourably discharged. My brother was recruited because of his ability to control his emotions and literally turn on and off his emotions and his ability to use his emotions to make him a better soldier it was honestly amazing to watch. His trainers where actually part of Ant, Jason fox, and Remi squad. Amazing solider I think he was part of 42 commando before going off to special forces training.

This interrogation made me cry
@Dark80s713 жыл бұрын
I have the upmost respect for this man. I am a soldier with a Fiancé and 2 children and in February of 2019 I was away for training in South Korea. At around midnight in South Korea (4am in New Zealand) I got a message from my fiancée telling me that our 4 week old daughter was having breathing problems (didn’t seem to major). My fiancé would wake up every few minutes and check on her. The last time she checked on her our wee daughter she was grey and unresponsive. Once I got the message from her telling me that I freaked out and called her atleast 20 times in the space of 10 minutes but I got no answer. I thought that we had lost our daughter and here I am miles away from home with absolutely no power to do anything. I called my brother who lived just around the road from my house who woke up and rushed over to my place. My call eventually went through to my fiancé however a paramedic answered. At that point I almost fainted. I thought that a paramedic answering meant that that was it. We had lost our daughter. Suddenly, I heard a baby crying in the background and it was our baby girl. My fiancé successfully resuscitated our dead baby. I was beyond happy. I couldn’t believe it. Needless to say I rushed home on the next flight. Fast forward one year and my fiancé was suffering with severe depression and anxiety to the point she was suicidal. We had packed up our old home and moved in with her parents for support which we were very fortunate to have. Being out there was great for us however my daily commute went from a 2 minute drive to work to a 52 minute drive to work. One night I was doing a charity walk with some of my colleagues. 100km in 36 hours with a 25kg pack on our backs each. During this walk my fiancé started to send me concerning messages. We would talk on the phone every hour or so and I would just be checking in to make sure she was ok. Eventually, around midnight she told me she kissed the kids on the forehead and proceeded to over dose. I was 50km into the walk at this point. I waived down our safety vehicle that was driving behind us. Grabbed my colleagues phone that was driving the vehicle and rang the ambulance whilst calling my fiancé to try and get through to her. She would answer however she was fading in and out. Here I was, once again on the phone feeling completely helpless. Once I told the ambulance what was happening I called the home phone and her mum answered. Her mum got up and immediately started to try and get my fiancé to vomit the pills up. I arrived to the house about an hour later. My fiancé and I took the ambulance to the hospital and I sat with her all night to till the morning. Every so often she would come to and be so upset. Not because of what she had done, but because she was still alive. She wanted to be dead. Here I am, sitting in my sweat soaked clothing trying to calm her down. Once she fell asleep, I cried. I’m lucky. I still have my fiancé and my baby girl. I apologise for the long rant
@Ps-tc9ko3 жыл бұрын
You can rant on anytime Matt, you and your family have been through so much. Sometimes when people fall on hard times it's like a process that your brain needs time just to go through and eliminate all the unnecessary things and it's only then that you think yes.. I'm not going to beat myself up so much about that because it was a normal thing at the time. Your wife just need to get to that point, to realise that she is perfectly normal, we analyse ourselves too much. Your daughter is a tough cookie too, like her Daddy.. Best of luck in all that you do. “You never know how strong you are, until strong is your only choice” ~ Bob Marley😘

Ants reaction was that of a fellow father trying to comprehend what he just heard. I’m not even a father and I wouldn’t have been able to compose myself hearing that. What a guy this man is, perfect example of an amazing father.

Good man your an inspiration to many, I was tackled whilst working when a 19 stone guy with Learning difficulties ruptured a disk in my Back, to cut along story 11 years later my left leg has 30% loss with 5 disks gone so bad they can't do nothing no more, be in a wheel chair but not fucking yet no way I'm only 41, your story is heart breaking and is a classic one when I was feeling sorry for myself then thought hang on a minute there is always someone worse off. Salute you brother 🤜🤛

Such a shame man, i hate the evil that's in this world! Horrible seeing people go through situations like that and seeing them deal with it. Be kind to people, treat people how u want to be treated yourself.

I'm in a similar family situation to this man. I work away occasionally. I cannot begin to imagine how this guy is still going. It broke me down and tears filled my eyes just hearing his story. Treasure your loved ones every day, you never know what's around the corner. ❤️
