I have had my eye on this for a while but still can't make my mind up, I have a few more days at least. I was thinking should I just save up and go all-in on Company of Heroes but not sure what they are doing now after the tragic news they had recently.

They have stated that they intend to fulfill Company of Heroes. I think we will have an update this week or next about how things are going to move forward with that project.

I'm still on the fence with this one. Anyone know if they will have late pledge available? But, I probably won't only cause I have some many other campaign games coming in and I'm still trying to get in on Elder Scrolls By CTG & Sankokushin 5 sacrifices

I had D Day dice 2ed, found it a bit too bland, a deluxified Yahtzee feel where operationally you did the same thing over and over. In SAS I only see bloat and for tactical games I have Jagged Alliance with minis, and for WW2 there are cheaper, faster and smarter solutions such as a Lambo book.

Also, the dice tray was pretty bad quality and showed wear and tear at the seams after a single play. It not only depends on the missions, if all you’re doing is the same every time.

I do prefer minis with my tactical games, but I have enough minis to last a life time :) It is sad to hear that D Day Dice wasn't that compelling. As for dice trays, the little fold up jobs are really annoying and useless for me. I like seeing my dice roll. If I use a tray, it is a large wooden tray with a leather or faux leather floor.

@@criticalfail DDD2ed had 6 different "armies" with a big set of items but regardless the strategy was the same every time, so it's a fine example of "just more" instead of "more variety". Sad example of a second edition that wasn't worthy of the name. Component quality, iconography, mission campaign, all looked good though. It cost me about €65 and sold it for €30 so if you buy it second hand you can sell it for no loss and give it a try.

With Dice Forge and Dice Throne I have enough dice games for the time being. The last dice game I considered was Rone Invasion but even that was a pass.
