Any jungle is hard. The humidity, the wet, the leeches, thorny bastard plants and creatures that will sting you as soon as look at you, fungal infections...you feel drained. Easily the hardest environment to do any physical exertion. The dry cold of the Arctic circle is pure joy compared to the jungle. The jungle teems with life...and it all wants your blood! Draining!!

It's called The Candiru. Attracted by urea they normally attached inside the gills of fish. Ouch 👎

Spent time in the French Foreign Legion, left in March 2011. My good friend from Brazil went through French Guyana jungle training for 6 months. Hard looking shit.
