Glad it helps. FYI, I was never shown when to use it either, I just got tired of people jumping over my foot and realized the foot placement of my opponent was the key.

That looked like you nearly damaged your ukes knee with that hiza. I don't think you need to kick the knee that forcefully

Thanks for the comment about safety. Looks more forceful than it is, but I definitely agree about knee safety for the opponent.
