You narrated the journey well, kept the background flute music at well maintained low pitch that doesn't interfere anywhere, and adds local sweetness. Food you can have Gathiya and Jalebi, soeciality of this region. Also u can visit once again during mango season to have speciality of this region Kesar mengoes

Instead of Junagadh to veraval journey, if you do junagadh to delvada journey, u will travel through deep jungle of ankolvadi, jamvala, gir gadhada route which is awesome.
