💗💗💗 One person's opinion: If Sasha should live to old age and look back on this film, I think he will see who his father "truly" was, and how sweetly, simply, and gently he loved his son. These are just about the finest, most moving moments I've seen of Plushenko in all the years he's lived on the ice. Wow.

Yes !!! But in his performances when he was gentle we could see how gentle he was, like in Caruso or Grande Amore. complete freedom that cant be acted ! and pain from the rest. Sacha came when his back was gradually getting up on him, and he was always alone when he went to Mishin. He always is both, intense and grace, but never dark, that is why he is so magic in everything including family. With loved ones and with his art on ice he is free.
