Incredible Chocolate Phase Black Bear Hunt In Northern Saskatchewan Part 1 - Lucky Number Seven

Lucky Number Seven was a very fitting name for this gigantic chocolate bear, which caused a few sleepless nights for me while hunting in Saskatchewan during the spring of 2014. I thought it was going to be a slam dunk after checking the trail cam photos one windy day. Turns out I was wrong!

It sucks when it does happen and you'll feel horrible for the animal, but its just how it is. At least he is honest about it and man enough to show it to the world.

You really need to shoot right behind his shoulder when his paw is up to get the best shot if possible which will drop him to the ground. and you also really need to buy a high grade binocular with a built in scope, so you can see exactly where the bear is should he still be able to get up and run.

I've been hunting for 40 years and have never used bait,nor do I chum for fish. I always scout the area months down to days in advance. I find it alot more enjoyable and skillful. Of course I use a recurve, same one for 27 years. I've used several different arrows over the years but I have a friend that makes his own and I buy them from him. Extremely deadly and durable.

And I've also found countless deer that people like yourself have shot but couldn't find it due to being a coward like yourself and giving up after five minutes of looking.
