Nice to hear that your dad is celebrating his 85th birthday and 60th anniversary. I just turned 83 and we also celebrated our 60th anniversary a few months ago.

You went to Maple Creek and didn't go the 'Cowtown Kids and Candy'. It's not only about the candy, it is the biggest puzzle store we ever visited on our travels. And conveniently located on the other side of the road is The Daily Grind coffee place. Good coffee and an amazing place to sip coffee and browse the Knickknacks. Happy travels, Dieter

Looks like such an epic road trip through Saskatchewan and Manitoba! The landscapes are truly amazing, and it's great to see all the adventures you’re having off the grid. I’ve always wanted to explore those areas myself - it seems like such a unique experience! Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed watching.

Great video as always, and I wondered what you were going to do about the great plains area of Canada. There are some places you need to get through when you have to maintain a schedule, and all of us, i am sure appreciate you being able to spend more time sharing the more scenically varied areas. I found when we end up with a child temporarily located in a plains type area, that i grew to appreciate more, that type of scenery, but mountains, streams and amazing vistas are easy to appreciate at all times! Your hearts are too the east! To the east! We are all so excited for your family getting to celebrate commitments well established, and commitments well begun!

Enjoying the journey across Canada as this where I call home. We traveled from eastern Ontario to Jasper 2 years ago (September) with our trailer traveling on the trans Canada highway. This episode reminded me of how much we loved the trip! Northern Ontario is beautiful where we have enjoyed camping and snowmobiling.

Good morning from Idaho. Really enjoying this journey with you. I would have loved to see more of Manitoba. I know from a trip I took to Ontario the map doesn't begin to show how much water there Really is. I have always loved to fish and have always looked at Manitoba and just would kinda fall into a trance. Would like to spend a summer there fishing. Have a good and safe trip. And enjoy the journey.

That Northern stretch of Highway above the lake head it’s beautiful in the summertime but very treacherous in the winter. Did it a couple of times and winter as well as summer and winter it’s just the weather can change instant I remember a time I was with a friend and he hadn’t done the Canada Highway Trip it was winter and I told him that that stretches highway was gonna put them to the test. He laughed at me by the end of the trip he was he wasn’t laughing. It’s so remote up there. You have to be very careful anyway it’s just stretch of highway that you gotta be careful on.

Great video. I am very surprised by your route through GFW and the fact you were not stopped by the police. GFW is not near an ATV friendly community as others in NL. Cromer Ave on an ATV would get lots of police attention if they were in the area. River Front Chalets are on the Exploits River. Great spot for sure.

I see you traveled the gravel road between Alberta and Saskatchewan in the Cypress Hills. My late husband and I traveled that same road about 30 years ago. The road then, was very rough, compared what I saw you traveled on. Then it was very coarse gravel,( little boulders, okay, I am exaggerating ), but at least you got a nicer road. But, even so, I have been to Cypress Hills a number of times, and always enjoy going there.
