Saskatoon has been home to me for 55 years.......beautiful place and I love it. Sadly Saskatoon has changed , be very careful after dark when you are downtown.

Hey CCF, I'm working on a series on the grand railway hotels of Canada. Would I be able to use some of these clips on the bessborough and credit you appropriately for them? Thanks again man.

Hi there! May I use a few clips from this video for a current affairs documentary I'm making for my university class? I will give you credit in the video :)

I think you should have included ALL the bridges, not just the ones downtown. More shots of the Bess than of the bridges. Just a suggestions to include all the traffic bridges and the two railway bridges that span the river.

Good idea. My emphasis was on downtown, using Saskatoon's nickname "The City of Bridges". If I get the opportunity, I'll add to the existing video by cutting in new footage. Thanks!

This is not legal at all!

Legal by city bylaw? Perhaps not. Legal by Transport Canada regulations? Absolutely.

@@CrosscutFilmsSask Would you have got in trouble if you were caught?
@CrosscutFilmsSask2 жыл бұрын
@@survivetolevel5134 The bylaw is complaint driven - no one complained. Besides, it would probably not survive a court challenge as a RPAS fall under the jurisdiction of Transport Canada, not local municipalities. Towns and cities do not have jurisdiction over control of the airspace above.

reading bylaw 5729 it's been in place since 1977 and would likely stand up. Having said that it's a bylaw, the penalty for a violation by an individual is a fine up to $2000 ($5000 for corporation) and if you cause damages you could also be liable for those... personally I live here and fly mine too without filing a drone flyover request and take the risk with the knowledge that it could cost me a few dollars in the worst case scenario. Having said that I think I my test the system and file a request and see if it's rejected or accepted.
