Use a leaf blower to clean your air filters. You want air volume (cfm) over high pressure (psi). High pressure air can tear the paper element in the filter. Bad filter = engine damage. Engine damage = $$ & downtime. With a leaf blower you get all the dust out at once. It's faster than doing it with an air compressor and less likely to tear the paper.

I was wondering the other day when you made the video showing your TMR production if you had a back up feed wagon. I guess you answered my question. Why have you waited to sow the rye? My first sowing went in three weeks ago just before a rainy day, and the morning dew has kept it growing nicely. It is dripping wet each morning. Do you need a back up feeding system? Good thing that the grass hoppers have moved on but can they fly back in when there is a nice juicy rye lawn to munch on. You work too hard, you need a holiday.

I always plant fall rye in my hay fields for my cows and it works great for feed. We usually just graze it because it would be a pain for us to chop it or silage bale it.

You could get some of that plastic tubing for grease lines so you could move that grease fitting from under the baler to the side some place so it easier to grease. I think your cows thoughts where (we are guessing there's something not working for the feedind system.but could someone please push up the last of the feed so we can at least eat that)

for batterie issue in feed pusher, if all looks ok but stops like that again I would guess static charge buildup, if has a ground wire check for dammage if no grounding wire/strap try using any wire touch to frame and ground may solve issue temperarily

Glad to see the baling is done! It's fun when it starts and a big relief when it is done. I was wondering, forgive me if I'm wrong, but since your soil is sandy isn't it counterproductive to bed the cattle with sand just to haul it out onto already sandy soil.

That's straw, not hay. It's used mainly for bedding the pack barn, corrals, (When it rains, or snows) and some of the calf barns. As well as filler in their TMR feed. They make small square bales of straw and hay for the goats and horses. They also feed small square bales of straw to some of their calves.
