I really like the simplicity and factual content of this channel, I hope it continues in this format and doesn't get corrupted with sponsorships and advertising like others (who I have unsubscribed and walked away from. Lots of sites build up their subscribers and viewings based on basic vlogs. Then when the numbers get good they get tempted with offers and then the content that made them popular changes!

I hate moles too. Problem for me is the rats use their holes and run around under the ground and chew the roots of things. Here in the UK we have had a wet summer. Last year almost no rain for six month, this year hardly six days without rain. Nice to see you finally got home and it was still light.

Hello Jan, thanks for your great video. In Germany, too, we have a below-average grain harvest. Initially dry and emergency ripening, then three weeks of repeated rain so that everything was submerged and it turned dark gray. Hail that caused 100% loss of some corn fields. Greetings Dieter

Mother Nature is in CONTROL of everyone & everything! too bad humans did not listen to her warnings & science facts of years past! our environmental concerns will only get worse every year... BC & the Yukon in serious forest fire evacuations... in this one video you talk of the rain stopping the bailing, drought stopping you swathing, the cow pens too dry with dangerous holes... then the grasshoppers eating your crops. challenging for sure! how everyone functions is factured now in relation to our weather. Hats off to the farmers who will suffer the most first! Thank you for your POSITIVE content💯

You've been going full speed ahead on the videos and the drone footage has really gone up in quality and editing. Well done Jan, I hope the more frequency of content has changed the algorithium for you and you gain more subscribers and are able to make more revenue. By the way, if you want to get rid of the moles or voles you have you need to first get rid of the grub worms living under your lawn/grass. In the US we can us a product call grubex which controls the grubs for up to 2 years. You put it on with a spreader like you would a weed and feed product.

One section is four quarters (160 per 1/4) so one section is 640 acres so for 12 1/4’s it’s 7680 acres. Hope my math is correct😂
@johnhughes2113
@johnhughes2113 Жыл бұрын
7680 would be 640 x 12. 160 x 12 is 1920. If the 160 per 1/4 is right then the 12 quarters is 1920 acres. I think we’re all on the same page now.@@WhirlyPearly

If those tractors get empty before they get to the e on the gauge I would suggest getting sending unit replaced in the gas tanks that probably why they are running out of fuel is because the gas gauge isn’t working properly

Hello Jan. One time you use the metric system the other time the other. It is unclear. Can you explain how many acres is a hectare and such Greetings from the Netherlands
@timothymbonham4453
@timothymbonham4453 Жыл бұрын
Western Canada (and much of the western US prairie states) was surveyed and laid out in square miles. Often there is a gravel road every mile or so. All the land titles and property deeds are recorded in square miles or parts of such. a square mile (also called a section)= 640 acres. A Quarter is 1/4th of that, 160 acres. Hectare is a metric area measurement, 10,000 square meters. 1 hectare = about 2.5 acres (2.47..) So a section = 259 hectares. But even though Canada is mostly metric, farmers & property owners still talk in terms of sections, quarters, and acres. It's just easier to say that a field is 80 acres rather than 32.374851 hectares (and that's rounded, exact is an even longer number).

You could stick the garden hose down one hole, turn the water on and when/ if they come out (half drowned) hit them in the head with a shovel. Or, dump rat poison down the hole.

Use the mole trap that is covered except for a hole that lets light into a tunnel. The mole attempts to plug the hole and a cable pulls up on the mole. The mole suffocates. It is effective. The trap costs about $20.
